So, to often the church ignores what the scriptures teach and pervert others for their own benefit.

Yes, it is important to teach and practice grace. We are saved by grace, not by works! God's blessing is given as a gift through Jesus Christ, none are worthy of it, that is why it is by grace. If we the church do not show grace in our dealings with others it can cause them serious damage. God Bless :)

Some people who have endured blindness and other things have been very active in the church. Fanny Crosby was blind and wrote many hymns. She was blind but she had 20/20- spiritual vision. Then there is Nick Vujicic, a preacher without any arms or legs. He says that God used a man without arms and legs to be His arms and legs. :)
God can sure use all people
But why endure junk He doesn't want us to endure?
If i'm sick, He says to go to the elders and that He'll
raise me up.
Now if you don't choose to go get healed, He's more
than able to use ya as is.
Some people think it's selfish and carnal to go to God
for healing
Others say He doesn't do it anymore.
God says this:

He said, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”
~ Exodus 15:26

Worship the LORD your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
~ Exodus 23:25

The Lord will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt.
~ Deuteronomy 7:15

“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
~ Deuteronomy 32:39

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!
~ Psalm 34:20

The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
~ Psalm 41:3

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good thing, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
~ Psalm 103:1-5

He sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
~ Psalm 107:20

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
~ Proverbs 16:24

My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.
~ Proverbs 4:20-22

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
~ Proverbs 17:22

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up.
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

And the Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them.
~ Isaiah 19:22

Lord, your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health. You restore my health and allow me to live!
~ Isaiah 38:16

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
~ Isaiah 53:5

‘I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,' says the Lord, who heals them.
~ Isaiah 57: 18-19

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
~ Isaiah 58:8

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
~ Jeremiah 17:14

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.
~ Jeremiah 30:17

Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.
~ Jeremiah 33:6

‭‭And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.
~ Matthew 4:23

And He called to Him His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.
~ Matthew 10:1

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
~ Matthew 10:8

It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
~ Mark 2:17

He [Jesus] said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
~ Mark 5:34

And the power of the Lord was with him to heal.
~ Luke 5:17

Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.
~ Luke 10:9

And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God.
~ Luke 13:13

But they remained silent. Then He took him and healed him and sent him away.
~ Luke 14:4

“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.
~ John 12:40

While you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.
~ Acts 4:30

And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; rise and make your bed.” And immediately he rose.
~ Acts 9:34

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
~ Acts 10:38

Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.
~ 1 Corinthians 15:43

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
~ James 5:14-15

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
~ James 5:16

He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
~ 1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
~ 3 John 1:2

LOT of healing talk right there!

The thief will still kill, steal, and destroy. Thats exactly why the Lord tells us not to store wealth on earth, because thieves will steal it.
How much do we need to have to be called wealthy?

You have not scripture or example in the Bible to prove that. God will take what the devil has done and turn it around for our God. But it was never God's desire that any tribulation comes.

You can see through the Bible that when tribulation comes to those who was willing to turn to God and have faith in God that He will deliver them, God did.

In fact I think Christians suffer more tribulation and problems than they ever should because they are willing to excersize their faith and confess tribulation and problems rather than confess God's willingness to bless them.

I don't think that is correct. How do you explain 2 Corinthians 12:7, and Paul's thorn in the flesh, where he prayed to G-d to have his tribulation removed, and G-d refused saying "my grace is enough"?

That all depends on perspective. There is no definitive answer to that question.
Here's what it looks like to be on welfare in the united states:

Most all of us on this thread are guilty of being considered wealthy

Since there's not one other such example in the Bible, we are obviously reading this
one wrong.
That "messenger of satan"
who sent that thorn? God? No, the bible says satan sent it.
Why was it sent?
And did God leave him helpless?
NO
God's grace was sufficient
God told him he was all set.
My mom when dying of cancer had no idea
what dire straits she was in. It HAD to be
the "grace" of God.
God's grace is as good as or better than removal.

New International Version
The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
Actually im pretty poor. I cant afford to pay my internet some of the time. Sure im richer than folks living in shacks, but if i had more money i wouldn't build a mansion, i would instead build homes for the poor.

I know it. Thats why i would build them a house instead of building myself a mansion.
So go get em tiger!
The poor, need the gospel.
it's free to preach that.

The Lord's Spirit has come to me,
because he has chosen me to
tell the good news to the poor.
The Lord has sent me to announce
freedom for prisoners, to give sight to
the blind, to free everyone who suffers,

Thank you for the comments.
Really convicted me in my heart.

Excellent!

You know I was thinking and pondering the teachings of the tithing and sowing preachers and something struck me of interest. I always thought it interesting what the tithe and sowing money pushers teach and how it never seems to work for them.

Consider this, if you tithe and sow money, God is suppose to bless you. If you sow into the right ministry, which is always theirs, you will get a hundred fold return. Well if they believed what they preach then they would never need to ask for money. Because they would have the church as an organization tithe and or sow money and get a hundred fold return all the time.

If they followed that amazing principal, then they could afford their multi-million dollar churches and the fancy salaries they want without even breaking a sweat. People on wall street would love to see just a 10 fold return on an investment but these guys tell us they have a 100 fold surety on returns for investments.

So if they would follow their own advice, not only could they have everything they want, but when it comes time for the offering, instead of asking for money, they could pass it out.

Isn't it interesting how many try to give others the illusion that God is some huge sugar-daddy in the sky? They love talking about God as if he were some grand pimp of prosperity. Yes, God has/does indeed prosper SOME people with monetary and/or material wealth, but the prosperity pushers never seem to address God's own good pleasure and wisdom for what's best for us all. Tragic.

As far as I've ever been able to determine in more than half a century of cogent observation, the proportion of poor faithful tithers to wealthy faithful tithers is greater than the proportion of poor atheists to wealthy atheists.

The most faithful "tithers" (with "tithing" itself denoting that they are religious) tend to be materially poor and tend to stay materially poor. Greedy people, whether religious or not, tend to gain material wealth and keep their material wealthy.

And scripture backs up that observation.
