Jesus tells us that we will be known by our fruits, the primary one being love. Most will admit that really loving with agape love is a struggle. Would you agree? But if we are honest, it is more than a struggle, it is one we are losing. Badly. Jesus said that we are to love God with ALL of our heart, soul, mind and strength. He also told us the second greatest commandment is to love others as we love ourselves.

Let those two great commandments sink in for a moment. Are we doing either? Are we even close? No, we are not. And why? Because we have been taught only half of the New Covenant. Oh, we have forgiveness down pat. But the other half? The half where God promises to ‘cause us’ to walk in real obedience and make us fruitful, the part where our shield of faith actually works in quenching every arrow of Satan, the part where we get delivered from the power of darkness, the part where He makes a way of escape in every single temptation and then assures us we will take it? That part? We are the blind leading the blind.

We have no idea such a walk is even possible, let alone promised to us. It matters not whether we are weak or strong, educated or not, it makes no difference. God has promised to make us ALL fruitful, full of love for both God and our neighbor.

And if you scratch your head, saying “Whaaaattt???”, well, you are not alone. Nevertheless, in these last days, God is going to awaken us and cause us to light our lamps. Every single one of us that truly loves the light, that wants more than anything to love as Jesus commanded us, will find in the coming days the HOW of overflowing love we have so been lacking up till now.

But there is something that must occur first. We must come to the place where we have to admit our great need.... and HATE our old nature that simply cannot love. It is impossible. Our contentment without godliness, without God’s love filling us, overflowing out of us, must come to an end. MUST. You see, For us to fully walk in the light as He is in the light, we must be willing to be cleansed....not just forgiven...but cleansed of all the traces of darkness that we have thought is the best grace can do. It is not, not by a long shot.

In these coming days, as the final latter rain begins, we are the blessed generation that will see the church returned to a state of purity that we never even thought was possible. Do we realize how many generations of brothers and sisters before us will have lived and died without witnessing what we will witness..... what we will be a part of? So will love be a struggle then? Praise God, no! It will be the easiest thing imaginable. Why? Because by faith, we will finally truly understand that Christ is IN us, not just with us and the old us, the one we have been taught we have to keep on the straight and narrow? We will KNOW that person is dead, never to rise again. One with Him. one with one another. That is what is heading our way. Glory to God!

Amazing days are ahead. Hold on, weary saints. God has a surprise for us that in going to blow our minds.

Blessings,

Gideon

Why wait..
There is no reason to wait, but in order to truly be able to walk in love as He desires of us, there is one thing we have to do. And what is that?

It is finally admitting that we need such a blessing more than we need our next breath.

Jesus told us that we will be known as His disciples by the love we have one for another. We are told that the two great commandments are that we love God with all of our hearts..... ALL..... and that we love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

Please note, God does not tell us to try to do so. We want to lower the bar, don’t we? But if we are honest with ourselves, even when we lower the bar to try to lift our walk with the Lord up high enough to feel like we are obeying Him, even then we are not obeying, are we?

How many of us are found beseeching our God to give us a single eye, setting our affections only on Him and on things above? Can we truly say that we are seeking to love Him more each day than the day before? Do we long to spend more and more time alone with Him in worship and adoration? After a great honeymoon, have we settled in for the marriage itself, where we may live in the same house but the love we once shared is noticeably absent? Have we left our first love?

And even more apparent is our lack of love towards our brothers and sisters in Christ. 500+ denominations, each one convinced that the others are in serious error and some even destined to miss Heaven altogether?

Just taking a casual glance at our interactions here on this forum, and any outside observer reading a small amount of our words to one another will shamefully have to admit that love is not the driving force of our interactions. It is proving that our opinions are correct as we wonder how those who do not agree with us can even call ourselves Christians. Is this not really the truth?

Is this the state God will find us when He returns for us, each one defending his pet doctrines, but lacking any real love for God or for his brothers and sisters in Christ? Praise God, no. We are destined for a wedding.... our wedding.... and our bridegroom is retuning for us, but make no mistake, before He returns, He will see us prepared, glorious in the beauty of holiness, overflowing with love fro Him and fro His children.

Let us remember, that we are commanded to not just love those who agree with us, but for those who despite fully use us. If we are convinced that others are in error, should we not be weeping in intercession for them to be rescued from their error? And if we are not, does this not reveal that we too are in error? What good is it to have all our doctrines tied up in nice, neat, correct little bundles, yet lack the compassion and love that those doctrines are supposed to produce in us?

Make no mistake. There is coming an awakening of our hearts to first, our desperate need, and secondly, to how to insure that His love hunts us down, tackles us, and fill us. This is our birthright..... our destiny. May it start today with me... with you.

Blessings,

Gideon

well . those who live righteous WILL suffer persecution and in every great move of the lord there has been exactly that . so with the greatest ever of such blessing there will come the greatest ever persecution. but absolutely no such move of the lord has failed to result in one and the same thing - people laying down their own lives and going out with the gospel . since this is the very way Jesus has commanded us to love . there is no blessing and no reward for those who are too afraid to do so . we must over come fear - and Go out .. and be doers of the word . no blessing has ever come without obedience and self denial to maintain obedience

Here I must disagree with you. Can a lamp shine forth until it is lit? I pray you hear me, brother for I am concerned for the teaching you have embraced so passionately.

To tell malnourished sheep that they now need to go forth and witness on the streets is nothing more than a veiled legalism. It puts guilt on their shoulders, when they have never been brought forth to the gospel that sets them free from their old nature. Until they get free, to tell them they now must DO anything, will simply discourage them even more.

They need to get totally free and when that happens, and God’s love fills them so full that they see it overflow out of them, trust me, they will shine forth for all to see. It will be impossible not to.

Blessings,

the light is lit the moment they are baptized in the holy Spirit for from that instant they are given authority to be his witnesses . to many think obedience is an auto pilot - it is not it remains awaiting the chosen course of action be taken .The moment we repented from OUR OWN WAY we committed to die to self and go Gods way .

i will display the error .. you actually saying the same things the church pastors are saying ..your teaching the excusing of obedience in favor of pampering so as not to offend . but its not the truth to do so . each are to be faithful to the lord Jesus the moment they repented to follow him . they must do as he tells them to do . he never tells the individual to do more then they are able to but empowers them always to the task he gives them .so there is no need to sit around waiting until a person is really top obey . nope .
NOW is the day of salvation NOW if you will not harden your hearts ..and what hardened their hearts? Unbelief .. and of they are still in unbelief they are not Christians in the first place -just deceived

If what you are saying were true, then God does not cause us to obey as He promised. It is still on our shoulders and the only difference between the old and new covenants is the frequency of the sin offering.

Your joy has been replaced by a hardness that is a now not so subtle legalistic demand that the saints must go out and witness on the streets if they are really saved. This error was revealed in the parable of the talents, when the man who made no gain did so because He saw the master as a hard man who reaped where he did not first sow.

Look, my dear friend, a man full of joy will shine forth to the lost simply by overflowing onto others. He is not told he MUST go witness or heal the sick. He does so because he cannot help shining forth the joy and presence of the Lord bubbling inside him.

Your thought process on obedience has been twisted in your mind by the teaching you have submitted yourself to. Your solution is for Christians to get off the duffs and go and and do what you are doing, is it not? But if they go out doing this with no joy, but because it is expected of them, it is no different than the Jehovah’s Witnesses demand that their followers spend Saturday morning going door to door giving out the latest Watchtower publication.

I mean no disrespect. But until the children of God are awakened to who they are.... new creatures....and discover the secret of getting victory over the devil and his temptations in their own walks, it will do no good to browbeat them into doing their Christian ‘duty’. Precious few will follow and your approach to those who do not believe as you believe will get continually more hard and legalistic.

God WILL and even now IS awakening His own and just as He has promised us, He WILL cause each and every one of His sheep to not follow another and to obey His every desire. How? By changing us from the inside out to make His desire OUR desire.

The world will not be moved by joyless Christians doing their demanded duty to go evangelize and lay hands on the sick. Please understand, despite what you say, I give them no excuse to stay as they are. The need for obedience IS NOT done away with under grace. But when we finally come to understand the fullness of the gospel and its promises, you can be assured that true heart obedience will come forth. Will all do as you contend and hit the streets witnessing and laying hands on the sick? No. Each will be led by the Holy Spirit to shine forth in their particular way, giving glory to God. Each will shine forth, however, as God sees fit, not men, and each shall be effective in their endeavors, for God assures us of that.

God has given us a yet to be discovered promise, given to us through the prophet Ezekiel. He told us that He would actually ‘cause us’to obey Him. Glory to God! It is found in Ezekiel 36. Obedience, long demanded as a key to our walking in the covenant in the Old Testament, will become a promise to us under the new! He said this:

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”

Ezekiel 36:26-27

But He was not finished. No more shall we have to be guilted or chided into obedience. Why? Because our God then says this:

“Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Ezekiel 36:37

Brother, I fear your head has been filled with man’s reasonings rather than God’s truth. It appears your joy has dried up and replaced by a hardness that I fear you cannot see. I am praying for you. I want your best, that is all. I hope you believe me.

Many blessings, Gideon

:) you need not fear such things about me -3 years ago i was entering this journey after 30 years of being a dead sinner in a church building
now life has been utterly transformed -i see healing on a regular basis , iv seen a girl deaf for 15 years instantly healed ,iv seen many devils cast out as we prayed for people -iv seen many many people come to true repentance get baptized in water and immediately be baptized in the holy Spirit and speak in tongues - so what happened ? why the sudden change after 30 years ? Simple I realized that God has already done all that is required for us
now he awaits our obedient response .
its as simple as that .
The gospel of Jesus as laid out in full in the book of acts has two clear distinct parts
1 What God has done for us already via the cross .(we could not earn it -it was done before we were born )
2.and What WE must do out of obedience because we believe what he has done .Just as the lord never controlled Adam against his will, he does not control us against our will.he awaits our obedient response .

Here is the issue I have with this stance you are taking. The word tells us that if our hearts condemn us not, then have we confidence towards God, and what so ever we ask of Him in prayer, we will receive it.

For the vast majority of Christendom, a heart free of any self condemnation is not there, for if we are still bound by sins of our flesh, it is virtually impossible to have a pure conscience. The mentality of a man still walking in their lower nature is ‘I am just a sinner, saved by grace’ as opposed to a man or woman walking in their new creature where the mentality is ‘It is no more I that lives, but Christ who now lives in me’.

So, to tell believers, who are steeped in the acceptance that they are not really new creatures at all, except ‘positionally’, that they now need to go out and witness on the streets and heal the sick, even if they want to obey, they will be frustrated by their lack of success because they themselves are not walking in freedom yet.

God indeed does promise to cause us to walk in obedience, but this is not true if we are not walking in faith as to what Christ accomplished with His death and resurrection. He promises that once we are aligned with His Spirit, believing it is no more us that live, but Christ in us as the new man with a new nature, and with our shield of faith up, He will be our master potter and cause us to walk as obedient children.

But if someone, through ignorance or through unbelief refuses to believe that sin no longer has dominion over them, then they will certainly not believe that they can lay hands on the sick and see them healed. Your stance will come across as a legalistic demand, with no life to it.

God is not a hard task master who reaps where He does now first sow. If He desires that life flow out from us to others, and He does, He will assuredly first make sure that life flows INTO us, fills us to the brim, and then the overflow flows out from us to others.

Blessings,

Gideon

your either a believer or not
But there is most definitely a beginning point of faith, a good fight of faith where we grow in our faith, and a being established in the faith that is ordained by God.

You have taken one command, the great commission, and made that a blanket commandment applicable to all believers. But in all of the writings of Peter, Paul and John, they not once, to my knowledge, command any to go out and witness on the streets or go heal people. They do say we are to have an answer when people come to us and ask us why we are different.... happy..... full of joy. That is being a good witness.

I am glad you have found what works for you, but I have seen a hardness in your speech that used to not be there. This is what a legalistic approach does to men. It does not draw saints to be witnesses. It drives them, and this simply is not the way of the Lord, and can harm God’s children.

You say God has done all He is going to do. So now, it is on our shoulders? Just obey? What the church needs is to discover how to become one with Him, abiding in Him so that they do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh and CAN obey.

Only then will they be able to see the fruits of the Spirit so grow in them that they they want nothing less than doing exactly as God wills for them.

For some, it might be visiting at old folks homes. For others, street ministry. For others, simply showing compassion to the disabled. What your mentor is saying is that there is one calling that ALL must do to show they are saved, which is simply the hand saying to the foot that there is no place in the body for any who are not hands.

Like it or not, it is error. If this is your calling, great, but I pray you seek God’s face on whether or not you have strayed from the truth in your enthusiasm for your particular ministry. I love you, and want only God’s best for you.

Blessings,

Gideon

Obedience IS important. We, here in the west in particular, have been fed a diet of a ‘tweaked grace’ whereby obedience is nice, of course, but if we so choose the lower path of continuing to do our own thing, obeying when it is convenient, but pleading grace when we stray from the path, thinking all is well, we are being lied to.

Jesus said “Why do you call me ‘Lord, lord’ and not do those things I command you?” Shall we answer Him “Because your grace makes it ok!”? This is the sleep that has overtaken all of us. And it is high time we awoke from our sleep and beseeched our God to make us obedient children.

Some will say “God will not turn us into robots! What about free will?” What we fail to understand is that when we finally so set our sights on walking pleasing to God above all else in our lives, we are asked to offer up ALL of our pearls, including our most precious one..... yup, free will.

Is this not exactly what the prodigal son did when he returned to the Father after his doing things his way? Just let me serve you. There it is, the final pearl offered up. He finally came to see that it was with his free will that he walked away from the Father. It was with his free will that he chose sin over purity. He finally saw that there is but ONE purpose of our free will. To offer it up to God as our ultimate gift.

It sounds radical, scary even. Satan would make us think we are going off the deep end. But it is at this exactl point that the narrow way takes us. And when we do offer our free will up to Him, in essence saying, just as Jesus did, “Not my will, but thine be done”, to our amazement, we will discover that it is when we return to God as lowly servants that the fullness of our blessings as sons and daughters of God is revealed to us.

This is the awakening that God has clearly showed me is coming. Obedience cannot be separated from the gospel. We are His friends IF we do those things that please Him. But in order for us to obey as He desires, joyfully, enthusiastically, faithfully, we need new natures and, glory to God, He is even now opening our eyes to the fact that is exactly what He has done.

Why have we not walked in them? We have not believed it possible to obey Him in all things.... yet. But in the coming days, one by one, His people, His elect, are going to long to please Him, admit that in their fallen state they cannot, and seek their deliverer to come and plant their feet in victory as new creatures. And that is exactly what He is going to do. Glory to our God forevermore!

His true church WILL awake and by the words of their mouth light their lamps, and finally walk as overcomers, victorious over the world, the flesh and the devil. The church was not planted in glory and power and the beauty of holiness, only to have to be rescued at the end, hanging on by our religious fingernails, walking in lukewarm ness and partial disobedience, overcome by the temptations of the world around us.

We are destined to meet our master with our heads held high, with the world again saying “Look how they love one another!” Our bridegroom is coming for us, to take us home with Him. And He is going to make sure that we are gloriously clothed, abiding in Him, and overflowing with the fruits of the Spirit.

Live, bones, live!

Blessings,

Gideon

Blessings,

Gideon
the ministry of reconciliation is given unto ALL .
you may well see a harshness in my posts -just as you see both love and harshness in the letters of the apostles . all of them .for God desires that none perish and yet multitudes are being led into the pit by the churched leaders. why would you not share the gospel to All you encounter ? why would you not offer to do what Jesus says to do . Where do you see the apostles NOT doing it ?
the excusing you present is quite a contradiction to the words you have often posted. for knowing what it is we are all called to . Do you now seek to have it happen ln autopilot without any action on ones own part? where is obedience to the gospel? where is death to self ?where is taking up the cross ?

Jesus said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
he also said -
" And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
you cant put pillows around obedience.-every single believer is able to do what the lord tells them to do .the babe in Christ is asked things a babe can do, the young man in Christ is asked to do things expected of a young man in Christ , the fathers in Christ are asked to do the things expected of a father in Christ and what ever stage of growth your at you absolutely CAN DO what it is he asked of you . for he has GIVEN US ALL things that pertain to a godly life - so any one that says "they cannot" live godly are making excuses in disagreement to scripture ..OR.. they have not yet been born again of water and Spirit .you still waiting for God to do what he has asked us to do .that's not obedience that's what the lazy and fearful and disobedient servant does and we Know his end is not good .

Jesus said - "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
and as john says "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked."
and you suggest the Apostles never wrote of doing it ?
their entire words are about living in obedience to Christ ,not to themselves. their words speak of it so plainly - as peter states "For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
And as Paul says
...."
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example.
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)...."
and we know he walked obedient to the great commission and here is plainly telling them to walk as he walks ..

And now i will deal with your wrong assumptions - it is only to the self professing believers and leaders that i speak so harshly yet i do not speak harsh at all -only uncompromisingly ,and i get accused of being harsh for it . this is to be expected ,people in Christendom do not desire to endure sound doctrine anymore , rather they seek to hear only things pleasing to them things that will not upset them . but when we read the plain warning that the lord has given to those who do not obey him to those who are unfruitful it is plain frightening because he is god and he cannot lie .
no sir, repentance out of doing evil is replaced by doing good or it remains disobedience and no repentance at all . for as James says, to know what is right to do and not do it -is sin

now another assumption you wrongly make is that i say all should go out on the streets to heal the sick and do the great commission .. but i dont ,you just assumed that .i say that we must all do the great commission in all realms of life to all peoples at all times . because that is what the lord desires and we love him , Dont we ?

where ever we are and what ever we do we bring Christ to all around us . have you not taken in those in need unto yourself ? are you not then presently engaged in the great commission , children are our number one disciples . and we are called to make more disciples . but Dont let that hinder you , you can also lay hands on the sick that they may recover, you can drive out devils you can speak the gospel ,you can then baptize the repentant in water and lay hands on them and see them filed with the holy Spirit and teach them to observe ALL JESUS COMMANDED us -you can do all these things( though of course some of these things you will be more adept at , and where you are more adept you equip others to the same , that the whole body can be fully equipped to the work of the gospel .

but to teach or insinuate that obedience will come automatically is just a circumnavigating of repentance .Each person must take that step out of themselves in order to obey the lord Jesus .

and as its written ..these signs shall follow those that believe ... you know the text .
..one part says .. they shall lands hands on the sick and they shall recover . ! so ask yourself .. do you believe ? and if any does not ,what on earth are they doing calling themselves a disciple of Jesus ??

so it is to these i speak straight and without compromise because there is nothing so stomach sickening as halfhearted false living hypocrisy.
Do you know ,when your out and about in the markets and the streets the shops the villages the town the houses the hospital wards and every where else ,sharing the gospel more and more every day you encounter all manner of people . And the professing Christian is a very common person to encounter
and when you question them there are two things that are so sadly 99+ % evident - firstly .. they belong to this or that denomination ,it does not mater which and have attended for a number of years And...
1 - they CANNOT tell me what the Gospel message is . And
2- on the question of the practice of sin- 99% are in the practice of sinning and know it . (not making a mistake and commit "a" sin. but continually living in a regular pattern of practicing sin .they are neither free nor saved and yet they are (falsely) encouraged that they are .. So it is of no surprise that i speak in uncompromising terms that sound harsh . for there is no greater disgust then the wolves which speak pleasing things to the eternal damnation of the hearers .they will be held to account and hell is worse for them . we must determine in our hearts to NEVER join with them .for they bar the way to life and they are not even going there themselves .
the heart that believes determines henceforth to OBEY the lord JESUS ,no matter the cost of doing so .
the heart that compromises does not obey or love the lord JESUS .

Brother, as I posted, obedience IS important. But where does it start?

Jesus gave us the answer when men came to Him asking Him what they must do to work the works of God. What He said is what I believe to be the starting point of obedience.

He said “Believe on Him who He has sent.”

Faith must be the starting point of our obedience. Err here, and on one side of the road, you run into a ditch of greasy grace, where obedience is viewed as nice, but not totally necessary. Err on the other, and you view obedience as what is required of us as a response of thanksgiving tp the Lord for dying for us. The motive might sound innocent at the beginning, but it leads to a hard demand for obedience before joy and freedom from the old nature is enjoyed. i have walked this road, and it left me bitter, bound and judgmental.

You have simply reduced obedience down to one thing. If you are really a Christian, you must street witness and heal the sick. MUST. If you do not, your opinion is that such a one is not saved at all.

I believe what God told me, that the church, by and large is asleep. The true elect have the oil of the Holy Spirit but their lamps are as yet unlit. How do we light them? By faith! We finally begin to HATE our old natures, We see them as the enemy. We take our stand that we are dead to sin and self. We believe we are new creatures, that we are no longer in the flesh, that we owe it NOTHING. We couple the blood of the lamb with the words of our own testimony as to who Christ has made us.....new creatures.

If a child of God is asleep, the first order of business is that they be awakened to the incompleteness of their abiding in Him. It is imperative, before they do anything else, that they get established in the faith as to who they are.... and who they no longer are. To lay a demand on sheep who are, as yet, still walking in their old nature, is to bring them under law. And the end result of this action will not be life, but death.

Suppose a man struggling with sin listens to your words, and thinks, “OK, this is where I went wrong. I am going to go witnessing and all will be well. Sin still rules over him. Joy is absent and guilt is plentiful. How long do you think this one will last before he thinks he is a hopeless case and walks away from the Lord completely?

You yourself ran well for a while, and saw the importance of this ‘reckoning of faith’. But you have been tricked. For you, perhaps, because you had taken your stand of faith and reckoned your old man dead, witnessing started out as a healthy obedience, done with great joy. Perhaps it still is. I pray so.

But you have forgotten where the source of your joy was. It was not in the witnessing, or in seeing others healed, but solely because of the abiding in Him, kept safe from the power of the enemy.

Unless sleeping saints are awakened to who they are in Christ, and taught to put off their old nature, then witnessing, or for that matter any demand for obedience other than the obedience of faith, will weigh a struggling lamb down rather than help them get established.

You continue to imply by use of the word auto-pilot that I am saying that God will somehow make us robots, which is simply not true. We are not robots, but are free indeed, choosing obedience every single time.

When we abide in Him, we discover the joy of full obedience. God changes our desires to line up with His desires for us. We obey, not because we have no choice, but because the choice to disobey is totally distasteful to us. You knew this at one time. I pray you remember how you yourself so walked.

Whipping the saints into a deeper walk will not work, nor bring glory to God. The goats will simply remain in their choice to obey their own heart, and the sheep will become discouraged because they already feel like failures.

The first step in a life of true obedience is to believe.... to reckon ourselves dead to sin and alive to a Him. Until the old man is dealt with, any obedience we might do will be short lived and joyless. But get a man or woman in the position of being kept by the power of God through faith, and that precious one WILL obey the Lord. Why? Because it is our high privelidge to serve the God who causes us both to will AND to do of His good pleasure.

Thank you Lord, for your mercy and goodness.

Blessings,

Gideon

the ability to obey comes from being set free from the power of sin . once set free your free to obey the holy spirit or the flesh -which one you choose to follow determines eternal life or death . obedience is the joy of the one set free because we were slaves to disobedience and sin . so if there is no increasing obedience ,one is still a slave to sin and will die in sin .

Certainly, with your understanding of how faith works, you know of the principle “According to your faith be it unto you.”

Millions of children of God are presently asleep, with no understanding as to the fact that their old nature does not need to be battled unsuccessfully for decades. It is already dead. The fact that they do not believe this to be true robs them of the ability to obey.

Until that error is confronted and corrected, you can tell such a one that they now can obey, and MUST obey, and he will get the same results he has always gotten.... failure.

Your method is similar to the method Pharoah used to punish the Israelites. Make bricks but I will provide you no straw. If you do not give the saints the true tha5 sets them free, their sentence may be commuted, their jail cell door may be removed from its hinges, and still, because of ignorance and unbelief, they will remain in their prison of self.

We must first get them to put off their old nature by faith. This is the turning point allowing a child of God to see obedience not as something they MUST do, yet with no ability to do so, and see it as a promise because God is now put in the position of the potter and it is on His shoulders IN US to cause us to will AND to do of His good pleasure.

This path you are currently on is error. It starts out small but as time passes, you will see anyone not on your path as lost and bound for hell. Yes, the way to life is narrow, but you make made it so difficult for most believers to walk as you think they must that you will eventually find yourself on an island surrounded by but a few others who have also dig in their heels, convinced that they MUST go street witnessing and they MUST heal the sick in order to show they are saved.

You said that God has done all He is going to do. I disagree. He promises to awakene the sleeping saints to the truth of their being free indeed. You are convinced the baptism with the Holy Spirit as the charismatics and Pentecostals gives a child of God all he or sh needs to walk in obedience. I beg to differ.

Their are multitudes of tongue talking believers, convinced they are in possession of all God has for them. They are wrong. There is a final outpouring, the real latter rain, that will being on the final harvest, and His house WaiLL BE full. I pray you finally see the error you have embraced and flee it. It does not mean you must accept lukewarm Christianity as the only alternative. Thank God we can walk by faith as new creatures and point others to the way as well.

But this is but bones rattling compared to what is coming when the bones are commanded again to live. The church, long dormant, will awaken to who they are, overcomers of the world, the flesh and the devil, and trust me, those in the world will be just as amazed as they were 2000 years ago when the early church turned the world upside down.

Blessings,

Gideon

your really gone well outside of scripture here bro . i have no technique save to do what the lord Jesus said to do . you can wait around in theories but be careful .your encouraging people to remain inactive in thier faith -faith is a verb it is what you DO because you believe -God has already given us his holy Spirit - he has already given us ALL we need to live a godly life .. he has already blessed us with ALL spiritual blessing in heavenly places -there is no such thing as a dormant sleeping Christian .the lord calls them lazy disobedient servants and takes off them what they thought they had and gives it to another and declares there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth . there is ONE commonality in ALL revivals and that is - repentance from dead works . works of disobedience -to Know what is right to do and NOT do it ,this is sin .
55+ million people died this past year in the world - how many did the sleeping Christians tell preach and warn them ..? no they are all waiting to be miraculously turned into some super Christian without any death to self on their part - it wont happen for them ever . you cannot rise up and obey the lord Jesus while you serve the desires of the flesh . you cant serve two masters you must die to one to serve the other -shun one to serve the other .its not a concept of faith it is what FAITH IS - it is the action you take because you DO believe .. if you say it and don't do it you don't believe it . most of your sleeping Christians do not believe they lord Jesus said he is going to cut off the unfruitful branches .gather then and burn them - if they believed it they would immediately repent of their fruitlessness and begin obeying the lord Jesus but they cal him lord only with their lips but they do not do what he says . so he is not their lord at all . they are lords unto themselves until they repent .
