It sort of reminds me of the republicans/conservatives during President Obama's terms in office --- the racism, the lies, the mockery never let up for 8 years.

There was not even 1/10 th of the hatred shown towards Obama that we see towards Trump.
Even out in this small desert town where we are on vacation ( Borrego Springs)
we drove past a group of Trump protesters yesterday at the town circle
oh what a lost looking group they were
they wanted us to honk with thumbs up approval
couldn't do what I wanted to do.
Been coming here for 50 years and never seen protesters.
One thing I can say -- Trump brings people together.

Sorry Bob, but this is nonsense. Maybe being on the conservative side of things you just didn't notice the Obama hate as much, but the sheer vitriolic hatred shown by the right towards Obama is only surpassed by the hate they have for Hillary Clinton.
Unless you think that questioning not only whether he was an American citizen but even his deeply held Christian beliefs was somehow not a hateful act?

I have been a Christian for well over 40 years and I have never “confused” my CHRISTIAN faith with anything else, not “my Muslim faith”, not “my Buddhist faith”, nope, never.

Ok let me set you a small challenge, give me an example of a sermon Rev Wright gave that you as a Christian disagree with.
Bearing in mind that he certainly used hyperbole at times to make his point. If his church was 'terrible' though, surely there must be a sermon that you find not in keeping with your understanding of Christianity?
