Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. - Matthew 23:14

Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. - Matthew 23:14

Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation. - Luke 20:47

When we go to hell will we be punished differently according to our deeds or ...?

No, there's only one Hades, and that will disappear at the final end.

The torment in Hell is self-imposed based on your iniquities.
Thieves suffer less than rapists.

cool so there are different levels of hell then? thanks!
I wouldn't agree that there are different levels of hell, but there is good reason for thinking that hell can be different from person to person or soul to soul, depending upon the lives they lived on Earth.

I trust in a just God as he is. We all will be judged. Have listened to several great teachings about this- Hank Hanegraff and RC Sproul come to mind.

There are different levels, cannot remember exactly where it says that my memory, am thinking it is in, at least, Thessalonians

Upon entering hell the condemned man was offered 3 levels of eternal torment. On the first level unrepentant sinners writhed in agony as they were being slow roasted on a spit. On the second level the condemned hung by chains and were pierced mercilessly with pitchforks by gleeful demons. The last level revealed the judged standing up to their waist in the most foul sewerage, calmly drinking coffee. The man immediately chose the latter, was handed a cup of coffee, and waded into the filthy pool. He had taken but a few sips when the supervising demon shouted, "Coffee break's over, back on your heads".

Are you talking about the Bible or a Dante book?

I hate that place!
Yet God is as God of absolute and perfect Justice. So much so that Jesus had to pay the price for our sin and transgression so that we could be forgiven.

I know some believe in the 9 circles (levels) of hell. But I don't think people realize thats not a belief or in the bible. Its from an old play. They even made it into a game called "Dantes Inferno" (think thats the play name to). I always found it to be interesting thing, to bad its not real because it would be terrifying. That all aside hell is just one place as far as I have seen. Though depending on your view, such as if someone is catholic, they do believe there is one more place between heaven and hell.... purgatory. But its not mentioned in the bible.

I think you will find hell is the natural consequences of your sin. For instance, if you rob a bank, you go to jail. When you repent of your sin, you are forgiven and your problems fade.
