Ask a Jew, What is the "Bone-Day" (etsem yom)?

Never heard of either. Is this something found in the NT?

My wife got very interested in all this when I asked her for some reason so she can get a bunch of credit for really digging deep into it. Her grandfather came from Egypt and was very immersed in Sephardic traditions and I wanted to know if maybe it was an obscure Sephardic thing. (It wasn't)

Side note, the man was amazing. He spoke like seven different languages including Ladino. Unfortunately he passed with none of his children knowing Ladino.

Yes..... it seems to me that time is like an invention......
that on at least some level can be compared with a car, or boat or plane.....
that transports souls from point A to point B.... philosophically...... we are learning to love.....

So yes...... the body also transports us from place to place.....
if you look up the words "Multiverse Theory" on this forum you may find some intriguing language from an online Theoretical Physicist friend of mine.....

Makes a lot more sense. Can you type it in Hebrew? If not, no worries I'm just curious.

"Middle of the day" is "emtsah hayom": אמצע היום
עצמ היומ "etsem hayom" is "the day itself".

Grammatically "bone day" is possible, it's just that it doesn't make too much sense.

In this post 'Bone-Day' in passover is written: "The Septuagint rendered the phrase with a Relative Pronoun, ‘hehmera ekeineh’ – ‘that day’."

That is reasonably close.
