When the murder rate is relatively low, as it is in San Diego county, there will be fluctuations. Did you not see the chart of various areas where San Diego had the lowest homicide rate?

why do you keep posting singular stories when data strongly shows overall ceime reductions? Single cities with specific crime problems does not a crime ridden society make

The problems in venazuela are not caused by socialism but by the submarining oil prices upon which their govt relied.

Do you see violence and social inequality as inextricably linked phenomenon?

Well, I'm always happy to support socialism as a socio-political system. I don't know about "socialism as seen in Venezuela" since I don't know what form it takes there. But if it's working then that's great.
