Now, let's be fair. Regardless of what anyone thinks of President Trump's policies or personality, he's a workaholic, often holding meetings early in the morning after working late at night. He has not taken weeks at a time off on vacation like President Obama did.

Anyway, I like you Ted, so I'm going to make this my last reply on this one.

I don't think the word "workaholic" means what you think it means. President Trump has spent about 25% of his Presidency on vacation so far. He doesn't need to take weeks off, he barely works as it is.

How Trump can get paid for having the Secret Service protect his family

He actually charged the U.S. government 6 million dollars for the seats provided to his own Secret Service detail as he flew about on the campaign trail. He's billing the federal government for each and every one of his stays in his branded resorts along with all the rooms and food, etc. for his traveling detail. This weekend he stayed in one of his resorts in Virginia. I'm guess there was some infighting among his different resorts that Mar-a-Lago was getting all the taxpayer largess for his stays and other resorts wanted a piece of the pie. I believe that the latest count is that 18 people of his immediate and extended family are getting SS protection. The SS has already asked for a 60 million dollar increase in their protective services budget.

Are we great yet? I sure hope it comes soon so we can get this monkey off our backs. We've now got the richest and most expensive president we've ever had. I know during his campaign he said he wouldn't take the paycheck for the job, so there's a few hundred thousand he's letting us keep....Maybe.

I find it terribly odd that there isn't some grass roots movement up in arms about this. The citizenry have, for many years, been decrying the wasteful spending of taxpayer money. Funny that now there doesn't seem to be much being said about this gargantuan waste.

I need to get in on that Secret Service work.

I'd be have all inclusive resort stays every weekend and eating lobster and 2" thick tenderloin with every meal.
Don't think I'd even have the room for the eggs on my steak and eggs breakfest paid for by the taxpayers at a Trump resort.

2. Your link to the $1.7 mil payment from the US to Iran is FAKE NEWS. PERIOD. FULL STOP.

Iranian interests, govt and private had money in the US, and when sanctions were revamped in 99, 01, 09, and 11, those assets were seized.
In 15, when President Obama began to finalize the renegotiations of their sanctioning, those sanctions were lifted and the monies freed up, allowing that money to remain in US banks or be sent back to Iran for re-distribution.

What the Iranina govt did with that money is not our business. It was THEIR MONEY, and Obama simply took the hold off off it.

I just want to reassert the FACT that Sec Clinton through President Obama asked Congress for MORE MONEY for security at SPECIFIC Embassies....Benghazi being at the TOP of the LIST, and Rep Boehner instructed the House to vote no right down the R line.
As a life long R, I abhor their decision, and as your video's ask, as to whether the inquiry's and subsequent investigations were politically motivated.......YES, they were.

Was there "lies" told to the American ppl, ABSOLUTELY.
Is it a crime for an Ambassador to lie to a news outlet irt an attack, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Had Amb Rice told either the committees under oath that a video sparked a protest and protesters then launched an attack, yes, a crime would have been committed. But this is what had happened. The government officials requested for reinforcement because they felt that something was going to go down. But instead of sending reinforcement, that they had told the troops to move out of there, without telling the four American workers. The four American could of have gotten on a plane and left , but they were thinking that reinforcement were coming to the rescue. And so they did have to stay there and wait for congress to vote.
