Well, if the children are irrelevant to you, then by all means, ignore them.

...and then wonder why they abandon your Church.
Review your post #28
It appears whether children embrace THE TRUE FATHER or the "wrong father" is of no concern to you

Therefore I do not feel I need a response from you on what you would do

You don't care either way

And yet you asked...

You don't care either way

But I am curious about what you would do...

No, you said her question.
I asked you what you would do
You said you weren't concerned whether children embrace Christianity

I asked if you were concerned about those who embrace "another father"

You said no

Therefore I don't need a response from you on what you would do

You just don't care either way

In any event, you seem somewhat concerned, and I'm curious... so what would you do?

When I was growing up in the 80s it was Punk Rock. Given I went to an all boys Catholic HS, when a friend came in with a purple Mohawk, he was suspended until he could 'repair' his appearance back in accordance to grooming standards.

From K through 6th I attended a super conservative KJV-Only Baptist school, my family and I weren't and so I often felt some level of being ostracized, since they were really against "rock music" my way of protesting as a youngster was listening to DC Talk and other contemporary Christian music, since they considered it "the devil's music".

Wow, that's unreal. I can see why you're probably the most Lutheran person I know here. I can't imagine that kind of oppressive atmosphere.

Many Young Adults Are Turning To Witchcraft As A Way To Rebel
Rebel is ridicules term. Maybe they are becoming Wiccan. Because Christians have certain rules they don't believe. So they are seeking for something that makes since to them. I haven't seen very good remodels, when it comes to Christians. That can be a problem. I see Christians as people that harp on other peoples sin. While they do thing, they shouldn't. Drink and drive, cheating on their husband. But tell me gay people are abomination and their sins are not sins. I'm going to hell because, I'm okay with gay marriage. I'm not a wiccan. But, I also don't think of my self wanting to be a Christian or any other religion.

Good news to me, witchcraft shops tend to have some of the best incense, candles, herbs, and teas. And there are just not enough good ones around, maybe this will shore up the numbers. (My local one has great teas and incense...but they are the "white witch" and "we're just spiritual" type. The one a few towns over is a real-deal witchshop - locally-sourced brooms, spells, chalks, the whole lot. lol)

With the OP's permission, I'm copying this from a thread from the Christians-only section.

"Full Title: Many Young Adults Are Turning To Witchcraft As A Way To Rebel Against Their Conservative Christian Upbringings

The Washington Standard
March 14th 2017

Young adults in America are far less likely to identify themselves as “Christians” than previous generations of Americans, but that does not mean that they have given up on searching for spiritual meaning in their lives. According to Wikipedia, one very popular form of witchcraft known as Wicca has been growing at a rate of more than 100 percent annually in recent years, and this has been happening at a time when Christianity has been in decline in the United States. Of course other pagan and occult groups have been exploding in popularity as well, and as you will see below, one of the primary reasons for this is because many young adults are seeking ways to rebel against their conservative Christian upbringings.

I have written much about how young adults in this country are far more politically liberal than their parents and grandparents, and this enormous cultural shift in values has a spiritual dimension to it as well.

A recent Barna Group study found that only 4 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 have a Biblical worldview.

Only 4 percent.

The shocking truth is that the values of most Millennials much more easily fit into pagan spirituality than they do into most evangelical Christian churches.
If you want to sleep around with as many people as possible, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to take drugs and get high every day, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to be a radical pro-abortion feminist, that is okay in witchcraft. If you want to be a gay transsexual exhibitionist, that is okay in witchcraft.

Poster comment: Perhaps this is why see such a surge in troubled youth on our prayer walls and Exploring Christianity."

Thoughts?
I think the author makes a lot of assumptions about why someone would follow a pagan religion.

It's usually not about rebellion. People change religions because they discover one that makes more sense to them compared to the one they were raised in.

You already do....it's called public schooling. :)

Funny, my kid’s public school doesn’t see it that way. The World’s religions part of their world history spent three days on Christianity, one day on Judaism and Islam together and the last day on Buddhists, Hinduism, Shinto, Tribal religions, and Naturist religions that included Wiccan and Druidism all smashed together. Having students say if they are saved or not took up some of the three days though.

My daughters class didn't cover Wiccan or Druidism. Those two were not even mentioned

Why even mention it to 6th graders?

Precisely. To be sure, there are a few "trendy" Pagans out there, but the ones I know are sincere in their beliefs.

People are attracted to belief systems that make sense to them.

Pray that GOD in HIS GRACE may lead them to repentence

Isn't He just as likely to do that if you don't pray? Surely He's already aware of the situation, and He has a plan for dealing with it...
