Is there really a Church Militant, Church Repentant, and Church Triumphant?

Where does this teaching come from, because I couldn't find it in the New Advent Catholic encyclopedia.

...And if that seems like an odd question, it's because I don't know where to post questions like this.

Is there even a spot on CF for discussing our faith in a mainline POV?

Also, I see the catechism and bookshelf sections as closed down, or seemingly dead -can we insert a Faith Q & A in their place, where we can go deeper than the catechism (without it's exclusion) -to the original history and encynicals that inspired the Catechism, and can I play a part in it? I think it would be beneficial to the Catholicity of our Church members here on their faith journey.

...Lets re-engage our faith.

This most ancient Sacred Tradition is called the Communion of Saints.
Church Militant, Church Penitent (or Suffering), and Church Triumphant.

The Church Militant refers to all in the Church who follow the Church's teachings, preach the word, and fight against principalities
and powers as Paul said.

The Holy Souls in purgatory are the Church Penitent (or Suffering) but who are destined to see GOD.

Souls in Heaven are the Church Triumphant those in God's presence for eternity.

This is the presentation as I remember from my youth taught by the nuns in Catholic school 75 years ago.
Seems this is the Church Tradition from the beginning.

...I know we believe in purgatory and Saints and in us living here, of course, but who exactly coined these terms? What language were they written in originally, and when?

Maybe try the Catholic translated bibles
