I'm not someone to take dates seriously but I doubt anyone already here is bent out on bashing your opinion. Im actually curious as to know how you've come to the conclusion on any date. Care to elaborate on this?

It's a combination of following and understanding many other prophecies along with keeping up with Middle East affairs as they relate to prophetic fulfillments. March 2017 is a conservative, best case scenario possibility as I believe it's more likely in the middle to the early parts of the 2nd half of 2017, closer to Syria's election. I could easily be wrong as there's not many prophecies on the destruction of Damascus and Isaiah 17 does not give a timeline I can verify. I'm just not as confident it'll happen this year, less than 10% IMO and less than 1% it'll happen in the early parts of 2018 if I'm interpreting other scriptures correctly.

Syria is a theoretical democracy, but is ruled by a despot who inherited his post of President from his father. Basher Assad is the man, he is an Alawite Muslim, a minority sect, that has, until recently kept the mass of Sunni Muslims under control.

Back to the OP:
The Devastation of the holy Land:

Isaiah 28:22b ....For I have heard that destruction is decreed upon the whole Land.
Isaiah 10:23 For the Lord of Hosts will bring final destruction on the whole Land.

Ezekiel 20:47 The Lord says: I am about to kindle a fire, one that will consume anything flammable. All of the Land and people from the Negev northward will be scorched by it.
Ezekiel 21:4 It is because I intend to make away with both righteous and wicked alike, that My sword of punishment is against everyone from the Negev northward.
Jeremiah 22:6-7 The Lord says about the Royal House of Judah: Though you are dear to Me, I swear that I shall turn your Land into a desert; a Land of towns no longer inhabited. A destructive force will come upon you and burn your dwellings.
Jeremiah 21:14 I shall punish you as you deserve, I shall set fire to your open Land, it will devour everything round about.
Hosea 4:3 Therefore the Land will be desolate, all that lives in it will be wasted, even the wild animals, birds and the fish of the sea will vanish.

Jeremiah 7:34 From the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, I shall banish all sounds of joy and gladness, for the whole Land will become a desert.
Zephaniah 1:18 On the Day of the Lord’s wrath, by the fire of His jealousy, the whole Land will be consumed, for He will make a sudden and terrible end to all who live in the Land.
Micah 1:6 I shall reduce Samaria to a ruin, to a place for planting vineyards. I will level the hills and valleys; lay bare their foundations.
Micah 5:11 I shall devastate the cities of your Land and destroy your military power.
Amos 6:11 When the Lord commands, great houses will be reduced to rubble and the small houses shattered.
Jeremiah 8:16 The sound of the Destroyer approaches and the whole Land trembles, it comes and consumes everything, crops, trees, city and citizens alike.
Joel 1:15-20 The Day of the Lord comes; a mighty destruction from the Almighty, all food is cut off, the Land is shriveled and dry, for fire has consumed the pastures and every tree is burned up. Jeremiah 25:38 The Land has become a waste and ruined because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
Jeremiah 10:19 The Land says: O the pain of my wounds, I have suffered cruel injuries and am laid low, but I must endure it, because the shepherds of the people are fools and never consult the Lord; so their flock is scattered.
Jeremiah 9:10 I shall chant a dirge over the mountains and pastures, for all is scorched and untrodden, I hear no sound of livestock, even the birds have fled and gone.
Jeremiah 4:26-28 The fertile Land has become a wilderness, its towns all razed to the ground before the fierce anger of the Lord. The Lord says: the whole Land will be desolate, totally destroyed. All the earth will be in mourning for this and the sky will be black. For now I have made known My purpose, I will not relent or change it.

Isaiah 32:12 Go into mourning for your pleasant fields and fruitful Land; for every happy home in the bustling city. Houses are forsaken and the streets are deserted.
Isaiah 33:8a-9 The roads are deserted, the Land is parched and dry. Lebanon is dried out, Sharon is like a desert and Bashan and Gilead are stripped bare.
Isaiah 24:10 & 13 The city is shattered and in chaos....all joy and merriment has gone from the Land. Nothing but desolation is left and the entrances to the city are smashed.
Jeremiah 12:4 &10-13 How long must the country lie parched, its grass withered? No birds or beasts are left, because God has judged the wicked inhabitants, they said: God does not see what we are doing. A sword from the Lord has devoured the Land from end to end and now it’s all a desolate wilderness.

I thought Syria was a monarchy? They have elections?

Keras beat me to the punch but yeah, Bashar al-Assad is currently serving his 3rd term in office. The next election is around August 2017. Usually the candidates announce their position to run in early spring about March/April. Here's some info on it.

What will happen to the land of Damascus ? Will Jewish settlers rebuild the city?... Is not that land promised to Israel ?

It'll go to Naptali. Ezekiel 47:13 - 48:29 gives the details of how the land of Israel will be distributed amongst the 12 tribes. Just before the tribulation, Israel will expand it's borders in all directions (Isaiah 26:15, Jeremiah 25:9) into neighboring countries: Syria, Jordan, the Sinai, the Gaza and Palestine. Lebanon will be punish and lose it's land in the first year of the tribulation (Isaiah 23:17). A second expansion will happen after the tribulation and Israel's territory will stretch from the Nile River to the Euphrates as promised in the Abrahamic covenant.

And yes, the Jews will rebuild Jerusalem and the temple during the 1st half of the tribulation. And all the walls will be removed. Zechariah 1:16-17, Zechariah 2:1-5.

Thanks psalms3704

Reason why I ask is because as you probably know I believe in a false messianic age when this land is divided and the tribes will have settled in the promised land again safe and sound but as the scripture says sudden destruction comes ...this is when the Damascus prophecy and a lot of other prophecies conserning Israel and edom Moab Babylon will be fulfill.... I would not want to be a settler of the land in those days ..there is a day of vengeance fortold ...nor recommend anyone to seek land there ...

The promised Land is all that area given to Abraham; from the Nile to the Euphrates and the Jews will be only a small proportion of the new inhabitants of all the holy Land. Micah 7:11-17, Isaiah 54:2 Israelites by faith, not all by descent. All true Christian believers. Isaiah 56:1-8, Romans 9:6-8, Psalms 69:32-36
Their title deed to the Land will be found. Jeremiah 32:14-15 The areas assigned to the 12 groups, is found in Ezekiel 48:1-28 Dan will get Damascus, but won't rebuild anything there, it will be forever desolate. Isaiah 17:1

As with Babylon I suppose will be forever desolate ..

I thought we are not suppose to seek a kingdom on earth but a kingdom founded in heaven mt Zion and new Jerusalem where all nations who believe in Jesus will live Matthew 6:19-20

I thought we are not suppose to seek a kingdom on earth but a kingdom founded in heaven mt Zion and new Jerusalem where all nations who believe in Jesus will live Matthew 6:19-20
Matthew 6:19-20 refers to our treasures kept in heaven, our rewards as v18 says. Nowhere does the Bible tell us that living people will go to live in heaven and Jesus brings our rewards with Him at the Return. Matthew 16:27
The new Jerusalem will come down to earth at the end of the Millennium. Revelation 21:2

I know the premise of living in the holy Land is foreign to much church teaching, pastors love to preach nice theories, pleasant outcomes and prosperity for anyone who warms a pew and flicks the base of the collection plate.
However, the Bible truth is that no one ever is taken live to heaven, only the souls of the killed martyrs are kept under the Altar there. But we who believe in God and have accepted the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, have the great promises of God to His people, be they descendants of Jacob or grafted in, of their re-joining, restoration and redemption, then to live in peace and prosperity in His Holy Land, as He always intended His people to be: a light to the nations and His witnesses to the world. Isaiah 42:6, Isaiah 43:10
It's going to be fantastic, look forward to it! Psalm 68:7-10, Joel 2:23-27, Romans 8:18,

I share the same view on this. Just way too many prophecies about the destruction of Israel, particularly Jerusalem, going through it's worst time in the history of the Jewish people all during the second half of the tribulation.

I don't think anyone can speculate as to where we will live, because our Father has hidden that from all men. Men cannot imagine it.
1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Yes, no one may be able to speculate, especially unbelievers who do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them however some believers on the other hand will get the opportunity to see these things in visions. If you keep reading ahead from verse 9-13 of Corinthians 2 you'll see that these things are revealed. As a matter of fact the exact same thing is mentioned in Acts.

Acts 2:17-19

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke"

Im actually happy you posted this because I seen a video not long ago of exactly what is described in Acts 2:19 and without knowing this exact scripture id otherwise have no reason to believe this video at all. I was reluctant to take it seriously but honestly take the time to at-least see half of the video and tell me what you think.
It is a quiet a long video but I assure you it is worth it till the very end. There is something about this video that screams truth I just can't articulate why at the moment lol.

Yeah there are a lot of people giving these testimonies. My brother had a similar experience.Experiences are very hard to articulate. Thanks for sharing. It is long and I confess I did not watch all of it.

I don't think anyone can speculate as to where we will live, because our Father has hidden that from all men. Men cannot imagine it.
Speculation? Where the Lord's people will live is prophesied comprehensively throughout the OT.
Although the Lord's true righteous people are often called by the names of Israel and Judah, we know from the NT that now refers to all believers, from every tribe, nation, race and language. Romans 9:6-9
Entering the Promised Land:
Isaiah 62:10 Hoist a signal to the peoples, clear a road, go out you people of Zion.
Isaiah 49:11-12 I shall make a highway for My people, they come from every direction.

Isaiah 40:1-4 Comfort My people, their penalty is paid. Prepare a highway through the waste lands, make smooth the way.
Isaiah 11:11-12 On that Day, the Lord will recover the remnant of His people from the four corners of the world.
Ezekiel 37:21-22 I am going to take the Israelites from their places of exile around the world, assemble them and restore them to their own soil. Israel and Judah will rejoin and one leader will rule over them all. Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11

Micah 2:12 I shall assemble the whole House of Jacob and gather you like sheep into a sheep yard, the Lord will lead the way. The same as before: 1 Corinthians 10:4
Ezekiel 34:11-12 Now I will search for My sheep...where they are scattered on the Day of wrath.
Hosea 8:10 I will now round up My people....
Zechariah 8:7-8 I am about to rescue My people, from all the countries they are in and bring them back to live in Zion. They will be My people and I will be their God.

Isaiah 60:1-9 Jerusalem, your Light will shine on you, your sons and daughters are coming back to you. Vessels assemble to bring your children from far away.
Jeremiah 16:15-16 I shall hunt for My people from wherever they are now dispersed and bring them back to the Land that I gave to their forefathers.
Zechariah 10:8-10 I shall whistle to call in My people, for I have delivered them and they will be as many as they used to be. Though dispersed among the nations, they will remember Me. I will lead them into the Land until there is no more room for them.

Isaiah 52:11-12 Go out of Babylon, [the ungodly nations] keep yourselves pure, you will not leave like fugitives or in urgent haste. The Lord will go before you, to guide and guard you.
Isaiah 66:20 From every nation you will be brought, on every kind of transport...
Isaiah 35:8-10 A highway will appear, the Way of Holiness, by that way all those the Lord has redeemed will enter Zion, with shouts of triumph and great joy.
Isaiah 49:9-13 I will lead My people along paths beside streams, they will neither hunger or thirst, nor will scorching heat affect them. They come, some from far away, in every direction, on level highways, for the Lord comforts them in their distress.

Jeremiah 31:8-9 See how I bring My people from every part of the earth, the blind, lame and pregnant women among them. They are a vast company, weeping as they come home, but I shall comfort them and lead them on smooth paths.
Isaiah 30:21 A voice from behind you will tell you the right path to follow.
Isaiah 58:11-12 The Lord will be your guide and will satisfy your needs in the desert. You will rebuild the ruins, you will be called the restorers of the Land.
Ezekiel 39:25-29 I will show compassion and restore all Israel, they will live once more in their homeland, free from their enemies. I will leave none of them behind.

Ezekiel 20:42 You will know that I am the Lord, [not present as yet, before the Return of Jesus] when I bring you home to the Land of Israel. The Land I swore to give to your ancestors.
Psalm 68:7-10 Lord, You go before Your people, marching through the barren wastelands. When Your Land languishes You restore it. You send rain and there Your people settle. In Your goodness, You provide for the needy.
Hosea 2:14-23 Now, I shall woo them and lead them into the wilderness, I will restore them ......they will be My new sowing in the Land. I will say: ‘You are My people’ and they will say: ‘ You are our God’.
[The Lord is not seen – the same as the 1st Exodus]
Micah 7:11-12 The Day the people return to the Land will be a Day to extend your boundaries.
Ezekiel 36:8-12 The Land will become fruitful and the whole House of Israel will settle there, they will increase, more prosperous then in ancient days. Ref: REB. Some verses abridged.

No Keras I'm sorry but that's not correct ... New Jerusalem is in heaven that is the kingdom we seek not earthy Jerusalem and the promise land ... Yes Jesus will make a new covenant with the Jews in the last days and all the nations will be blessed by his return but the ultimate goal is to live in new Jerusalem ...

24 elders were seen in heaven on thrones not under the alter

A great multitude of all nations which no man could count was seen in heaven before the throne and before the lamb not under the alter....crying salvation! ..Revelation 7:9-10

144000 caught up to heaven

Enoch and Elijah will die and be resurrected to ascend to heaven

You believe what church teaching has most always promoted. We trust our pastors and don't like to contradict what they say and what is believed by our friends, etc. But are they always right? Does the Bible clearly state these things?
No Keras I'm sorry but that's not correct ... New Jerusalem is in heaven that is the kingdom we seek not earthy Jerusalem and the promise land ... Yes Jesus will make a new covenant with the Jews in the last days and all the nations will be blessed by his return but the ultimate goal is to live in new Jerusalem ...
Do you believe that the Lord's people will live in New Jerusalem before it comes down to earth at the end of the Millennium? Revelation 21:2 &27 Note that NJ is made ready....for those whose names are entered in the Book of life.
24 elders were seen in heaven on thrones not under the alter
It is the souls of the martyred saints that are kept under the heavenly Altar. Revelation 6:9
We are not told who the 'Elders' are.
A great multitude of all nations which no man could count was seen in heaven before the throne and before the lamb not under the alter....crying salvation! ..Revelation 7:9-10
Where does it say that great multitude are in heaven? Note Revelation 7:1-3 sets an earthly scene, no mention of any change in location in that chapter at all. The great tribulation referred in Revelation 7:14 is the terrible ordeal of the Sixth Seal, not the G.T. that comes later.
144000 caught up to heaven
Nowhere does the Bible say the 144,000 go to heaven.
Enoch and Elijah will die and be resurrected to ascend to heaven
Maybe, my guess is Moses and Elijah, but they could be any two righteous men living now.

In future, please give scripture references to prove your points, as I said before speculation and guesswork are useless.
