Madonna fans ?

I used to love Madonna's music. She is a good, not great singer, and all, but her songs after 2001 just aren't as listenable to me. Whoopi Goldberg said it best about her: she shouldn't try to act 22, that she should just be herself. The shock value is wearing thin in my eyes.

lol...sometimes I wonder if Madonna is too old to try to be controversial...she is well over 50 years old and looking like a one trick pony from 25 years ago.

"The Immaculate Collection" is about as fine a "best of" anthology as any one artist has ever released. I have little or no need for anything else she's done. And I do think she should get bonus points for her use of the sample of Abba's "Gimme Gimme" in "Hung Up". You can have the rest, though.

Her reviews for the movie were mixed, but she does a great job on this. One of her prettiest songs.

She has good and catchy songs. She is truly a legend in the pop music industry. Hope she will return this year with a new album.

I sorta liked her in the 80s and early 90s when she was popular..but she was always conttroversial.

More dance music. I think her best songs were holiday and papa dont preach.
Shes very worldly.

She's got a lotta' guts...for that i gotta gives her respect, even after her recent foibles (i felt so bad for her, but i realized that she's a survivor and she'll get back up again.)

I was a huge Madonna fan when I was a kid and I still enjoy her '80s and early '90s songs. The last good song she released was American Pie in 2000, and that was even a cover.
