i spoke to a friend today who is married to an OCA priest who is a Godchild of this Fr. Paisius. Thus far he has not been removed. She said she thinks it is because people have not really been speaking out so much yet (and she is aware of this site). St. Innocent's is in the CSB, which is an extremely tight-knit group and it would take a lot for CSBers to turn on one another, as she put it. However, other CSB priests have been suspicious of Fr. Paisius for quite some time but I guess they haven't known for sure what is going on. Her husband is intending to write a letter to Metropolitan Joseph. I don't know what he'll do, but Metropolitan Joseph is a good, maybe holy, man.

It's a residential school. I'm not terribly familiar with it. The guy who runs it is a former HOOM guy, so that explains the seemingly random jurisdictional affiliation. They've apparently petitioned the bishop for years with no response and this site was released, like, this week because of the lack of response. The above is only what I heard from a guy, the last sentence may be inaccurate.

I didn't realize Christ the Savior Brotherhood (CSB) was still an organized entity. I thought their members had dispersed into the various jurisdictions and that was the effective end of that group. I didn't realize CSB was still an organization that one could join or resign from.

I googled them and discovered they have a publishing business. I never realized they were the publishers of The Road to Emmaus journal.

A while ago, I did a little online investigating to see what had become of CSB and I ran into nothing but dead ends, suggesting the group had dissolved and the former members were now parishioners at assorted canonical parishes across the US. I couldn't find anything concrete about them at all and now here they are, with a publishing house and member priests. How did this group revive?

(CSB is mentioned on the Abuse web site.)

Xenia, they didn't revive because they had never dissolved. It's just that now that they are all in canonical jurisdictions, they don't do nearly as much as the Brotherhood anymore. as far as i know they mainly stick to publishing and lending money to churches.
