I have not ask for prayers concerning my daughter for some time here. I have not kept you updated on the progress of things either. My father in law kicked her out of his house finally. This was a huge blessing. She so needed to get away from him and the family. She has moved into a home with a single mother. She has been calling quite a bit and coming by more frequently. So this is a good thing. She wants us to make her dinner at least once a week. Which is another good thing. She has really been making efforts to get closer to us now that she is moved out. I think she knew in her heart she needed to be away from the family. However she is in contact with them quite a bit still.
Prayer request are as follows concerning her.
1. She is living half the week in sin. 3-4 days she sleeps with her boyfriend. She talked about moving home, however we won't allow her to live half the week with him and the rest with us. Its too much like condoning her sins. She knows she is doing wrong, she just chooses to keep sinning and it is costing her a bunch of money, and God knows what else. So please pray for her on this account. I would really appreciate it.
2. Salvation. For her to finally give in and fully accept the Lord as she needs too. This is really important for her. She knows she is doing wrong. She is kicking against the goads quite literally.
3. Convictions, as far as I know, she has none. She has little to no consideration for other people as well. She does offensive things to others and she is oblivious of what she is doing. She feels no shame as well as far as I know. She has no problem stating bad things. Its almost like bragging with her.
4. For her sanity. Her mind is like totally in knots. No other way to explain it. She needs to get her head sorted out and she needs to think clearly again.
For those of you she once was a really really great person. She cared a lot about her parents and I think she once cared a lot about God. One day she told me she hated God and she was mad at him. I asked why. She said He is not answering her prayers. It was like a couple days later she totally went over the edge. She betrayed her parents and God. She really needs prayers and she needs her parents back in her life. She is fighting hard against what is right. The family has sworn off the wife and myself, and basically told her that they would disown her if she ever moved back home. Been a lot of warfare here. We really honestly and truly need the prayers. The daughter and us. Her parents. Thanks in advance.
As for me, in my absence I have been very busy. I have a prayer group and we are praying our rears off for one another. I have grown quite a bit since all this happened. I am really grateful for all that God has done for me and for my wife. I am grateful for what He is still doing for my daughter. Thanks and God bless.
