The early archeological parts of the video were quite interesting but a bit light on substance. But then it started to veer into an agenda-driven slant which causes me to question all the claims of the producers. I would have preferred a more objective documentary style exploring the history and archeology of this synagogue, with opposing viewpoints explored in depth, rather than one-sided claims about "being ignored by authorities", "blessed are those that persecute you" and other stuff that are usually the dead giveaway of youtube videos produced by conspiracy theorists and whatnot.

Was there some particular reason you posted this? Any point to it? It's got nothing to do with Orthodoxy or the Church and is a poor attempt to bolster a messianic jewish claim.

Just thought it was interesting.

With no historical documental evidence, it is quite impossible to affirm any existence of such a Jewish sect.

From what we know of early Christianity, the churches were well related. If this synagogue community were persecuted, one may expect evidence of the arrangement and motivations for the persecution...this is how we know about heresies.

It all seems more than a little fantastic and politically motivated.
