I assume you mean that you want to play 10 guitar pieces that use scripture? I don't know for sure what you want but one song I like very much that speaks volumes is "Mary Did You Know". For one thing it speaks against the Catholic idea that Mary holds some sort of special position whereby we can pray to her like we pray to Jesus. The song points out that Jesus was Mary's savior just as He is our savior.

Thanks for that. My roadshow uses ten verses or pieces of scripture spoken over backing music. Interspersed are hymns or faith songs. What I am looking for are the scriptural verses so I can time the length, make the backing tracks and then have happy pensioners! :)

Luke 10:25-28 "
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[c]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”
28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

Matthew 5:33-48 "
33 “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ 34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.[g]
Eye for Eye

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[h] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Love for Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

I have decided to change the theme to 'Ten things God wants us to know' This is what I have decided;

I will give you rest
Matthew 11:28

I will strengthen you
Isaiah 40 :30&31

I will answer you
Revelation 3:20

I believe in you
John 11:27

I will bless you
Hebrews 6:14

I am for you
John 10 :11

I will not fail you
Hebrews 13:5

I will provide for you
1 Timothy 6:17

I will be with you
Psalm 139 : 8&9

I love you
John 3 :16

The verses chosen may be a expended on either side but not enough to swamp the relevance of the scripture.

What does everyone think?
