I'm very thankful that GOD has helped me with the struggle of father issues. And last Sunday as I was partaking in communion I thought "I wish I had a husband to lead me in prayer right now." That was a nice thought for me and I think that's a definite praise for sure. When that day comes," says the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband' instead of 'my master.'

My advice to you Lioness is to do what I did 24 years ago. I made Jesus Christ my husband... literally. I treated myself and my life as though I were married. I spoke to Jesus every day at every opportunity. Everything I would have said to a husband, I said to Him. After 2 years, I asked him to send me a husband in the flesh. I did not trust myself to pick the right man. I knew I would pick a loser. So I waited, and not long after that prayer God sent him to me. We have been together now for 20 years serving and ministering to others through Christ.

One warning; when you finally do get to where you are truly ready for a husband in the flesh, Satan will send them out of the wood work. Trust your instincts and keep praying. You will know when he is the one sent by your Maker.

Father God,
Help Lioness. Be her Maker, her Keeper, her Husband until such time as You see fit to give her a husband of her own.
How precious it was that she took communion and did not begrudge the fact that she isn't married yet; she simply said, "that would be nice."
So I ask You Lord, give her the desires of her heart. Make her desires Yours. Be pleasing to her in this thing. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I understand. Completely. I'm only now, at 28, realizing how much daddy issues have impacted my life.
