I dunno, given how much other species of apes like bananas, I'd have thought it wouldn't be your go to fruit to try to insult evolution.

Common Designer vs. common ancestor.

The banana doesn't have the non-slip surface, the hand "has" it.
So if you put a banana and a cucumber on a highly-polished tilt-table, they'll both slip off at the same time when the table is activated slowly?
I guess you could technically say, about most of it, he didn't lie. He never said "This banana, still in its original form, was created by God" and went on with his shtick... but he eluded and implied that.
I'll give you Sherlock wannabes this much:

He did seem to elude to the banana being a part of God's original creation; but came short of actually saying it.

Well, the cumumber might roll of it, and thus slip of more quickly. But that has to do with shape, not surface. The surface of a cucumber is more anti-slip than the surface of the banana is.

I don't believe you.

And what brilliant scicentist would test friction at rest by placing a cucumber on a tilt table sideways?

If you think it's a stupid test, don't propose it.

Well, I proposed it ... leave it to a scientist to mess it up.

I guess I should have been a little more specific, Tom.

Yeah. Pretty dishonest.

And the lying about atheists "editing" his video...

Yeah. Pretty dishonest.

And the lying about atheists "editing" his video...

Ya ... it's just jam-packed with lies, isn't it?

After all, his lips moved, didn't they?

Some lies, some misrepresentations, all wrong.

Right?

In regards to the video (by "wrong" you mean including lies, misrepresentation, etc) or everything he has said?

Can you please clarify your earlier question? I have asked for you to.

Why are the movement of lips called into question? My thumb moves most of the time on CF and I don't clarify that.

For starters, it's not the atheists' nightmare.

He says there are 3 grooves (index finger) and 2 grooves (thumb) and "the banana and the hand are perfectly made one for the other". He ignores the 6th groove, when the tips of the finger and thumb are pressed together.

The banana doesn't have the non-slip surface, the hand "has" it.

I guess you could technically say, about most of it, he didn't lie. He never said "This banana, still in its original form, was created by God" and went on with his shtick... but he eluded and implied that.

So, not error-free.

It's also interesting to note that he kinda conceded that argument in 2006 and lied saying, "I put it into a booklet form ("The Atheist Test") and sold over a million copies. Then Kirk Cameron and I put it into our TV program. However, atheists removed the coke can, and sent the clip all over the Internet, saying "Ray Comfort believes that the banana is proof of God's existence." They really made a monkey out of me. I became the laughingstock of atheists all over the atheist world. It was very humbling." There is no such video.

The bananna is proof of God's existence. Here is a few questions- why did the bannana evolve grooves on the sides? Why did it evolve a non slip surface? It is just as suggestive to say God created if for human consumption. I have heard this done with a jar of peanut butter as well (Chuck missler). I have used the pamphlets with "athiest nightmare" in it before. I look at it a little fanciful, but not dishonest or deceiving which was the original diagnosis of the video.

as far as the ray comfort quote regarding the bannana, I would have to read the quote in original context to see if this is quote mine or if it is legit.

so because M likes B more than H likes B then B must be created for M and not H?

I would say in reply that Humans do in fact consume B regularly so your argument would only work if humans didn't in fact consume B.

If they didn't consume it, then the argument would never have been mentioned.

So I am not sure why you think that because monkeys eat more banannas that humans are exempt from the creation topic at hand?

You do realize that the banana he is holding is an entirely human invention?

The God-given banana looks like this:
wild_banana.jpg

Question: how much of what the idiot in the video says applies to the God-given banana according to you? Because as far as I can see, none of it does.

But now my serious question. You actually take that video seriously?

I am not sure what you are saying, how is a banana a human invention?

And I am not sure what the picture depicts either.

If you don't like the atheists nightmare (the banana), you definitely won't like the you tube series "creation moments." They have one on the bombardier beetle (blister bug) that literally has a flame thrower. How did that evolve? I mean how many times blowing up your gut does it take to evolve a bombardier beetle?

they have transcripts online, but I like the videos personally. Couldn't find off hand (bombardier beetle)

here is one transcript

http://www.creationmoments.com/radio/transcripts/bombardier-beetle

but even if some try to discredit this example, there are hundreds other creation moments.

The Bombardier Beetle does not LITERALLY have a flame thrower coming out its rear end. That's ridiculous.

Bombardier beetle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's a chemical spray. It wouldn't explode if the chemicals mixed. And explaining how it could have evolved is very simple, and has been done numerous times.

The Bombardier Beetle Myth Exploded | NCSE

Bombardier Beetles and the Argument of Design

Evolution of the Bombardier Beetle - YouTube

Edit: By the way, I love your links childish simplicity.

The fact is, the beetle can give you a nasty burn. Even the popular magazine Science Digest explained the bombardier beetle's defense with the words "explosive reaction.

Nasty burn? The reaction probably isn't any hotter than your average cup of coffee. And they place way too much stock in what a pop magazine says. Try an actual scientific journal.
