Eating meat cheese etc is wonderful after all this time - but eating them on a Friday .................

My understanding is that cats hate being messy and if you butter their paws it takes them so long to get their paws clean that they don't think of running off again

I expect it's an Old Wives Tale over here I wouldn't know - I'm not a cat person

We're having Taverna weather this morning in Dublin so I thought I'd pop in to soak up the atmosphere and pretend I'm on an exotic Greek island...

Well, that Taverna weather lasted all of 40 minutes. Normal services have resumed...

One day I'll wake up and go to bed in the one day and will not have seen a cloud in the sky. One day I tell ya...!

Last time I managed that I was in Portugal and the temp was over 40 degrees [ 104 F ] - I was almost flaked out in the heat and my husband was running about as normal !!

dang that is up there. in Ft Sill one time I remember it was 115 F......in the shade....
