I owe my discovery of Queen entirely to my dad.. He's been a die-hard fan since they started out, so I've been listening to their music ever since I was born, practically.. Same goes for the Beatles..

Pink Floyd.. A few years ago (about 5), my dad made me listen to Wish You Were Here.. I fell in love with it instantly, and wanted to hear more of their music.. At first I didn't liike what I heard, I was probably too young to appreciate their music, but 2 years later I started to really get into their music.

Led Zeppelin.. I was in a record store in Paris in July '06, and i was on a budget. There was a special offer for Led Zeppelin IV, and I had heard such great thigns about the band, that I decided to buy it. That's how it started with Led Zeppelin.

Oh man, I am on a weird Daft Punk high right now. If that makes sense, ha ha.
Well, electronica type things in general. Oddly enough, I've gotten myself into that odd dubstep noise. xD
Also, I don't know if you can really consider Vocaloid a band- if I may be as so picky to point out. :B
Vocaloid itself is a software type thinger, so wouldn't it be better to name off the different vocaloids themselves? Lmao. Just sayin'. For the record, I like Luka, Kaito and Gakupo... >u>
But anywhoozles, my favorites are as follows:

-Metric
-Kye Kye
-Yeah Yeah Yeahs
-Children 18:3
-Family Force 5
-Daft Punk
-Anamanaguchi (I'll admit, Scott Pilgrim was what lead me to them)
-Matt & Kim (These two are recent for me)

I listen to a couple Asian Kung-fu generation songs and I used to listen to TONS of Gorillaz. xD
I went through a weird Beatles phase about a year or so ago. Don't listen to them much anymore, but sometimes.
I'm just discovering a lot of Christian bands and artists, Children 18:3, Family Force 5 and Kye Kye being just a few of them. I'm also slowly getting into Showbread.
I'm also really enjoying Flyleaf and Ilia. xD

*Deep sigh* I used to watch YouTube like the plague and I saw thousands of acts and performing artists but you would think I had heard of at least one name on your list despite of all of what I have seen and yet I haven't. I have no idea who those guys are.
