I'm sooo so lucky. I've been ill for five years now, and I only found this place (through sheer providence!) a year ago. The head physio there is a gem and an expert on chronic pain as well as treating fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue/ME. I love her to pieces. I have manipulative therapy twice a week, a massage to unknot my muscles and nerves (my nerves like to stick themselves to 'on', and then the muscles tense around them, and everything goes stupid), and a pilates class once a week which I love - between that and whole body vibration therapy (which I also do there) I actually have muscles in my body that can hold my back up again - I had no core strength at all after four years in bed. I still spend a lot of time in bed, but now I can be up for longer because it's less tiring
They have the pilates classes really small, taught by a physio who is trained in this stuff too, and they adapt everything for everyone based on their physical condition. It's great. And I see the head physio every few weeks to sort out the 'life' stuff. She and my doctor who looks after the medical side of things are friends too (thankyou God for these Thy gifts!) and they send me notes for each other suggesting/requesting treatment - like she'll send me to him with a request for blood tests for a certain vitamin or something, and he'll send me with 'fix this bit of her spine, please'. It works!
I know she takes clients via skype, so if you're interested let me know, she could give you advice and guidance for a physiotherapist there maybe?
