Just wanted to say how much I (we all) miss Amy McCutcheon, kisstheson, on this forum. It's not the same without her being here.
She was the one who invited me to Christian Forums exactly 4 years ago.

I like to think of Him having a sense of humor and would love to see His joyful smile.

I have wondered many a time what it is like to walk with JESUS, but by the Grace of God, I received the salvation of The Lord Jesus Christ, and serving The Lord Jesus Christ and learning humility, and taking on the form of a servant, has enabled The Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into ALL TRUTH!

God Bless and continue to edify you in being faith servants of The principal ministry He has entrusted to His saints, notably, The ministry of reconciliation!

I believe that there is a Jesus who is other than me and who loves me so much that He wants me to be with Him forever, and that this is true for all people!

I often feel like He has a hilarious sense of humor

It would have been great to exist back then, but I believe he has me here, in this time period, for a particular reason.

I know one day we'll have fellowship with Him.

Where our Father guides He financially provides! Best of luck! I read some it as I am at work, I liked what I read. I am always chatting to my husband about the humanity of the people in the bible. After all they are human, with real feelings and real emotions. Sometimes we get so caught up in reading the Word from God's prespective (which is awesome) we forget to read it at the human level as well.

May God open the doors you need today!

By the way my life, my real life reads like the woman at the well, and like her Jesus came a long way out of the way to get me! For which I am extremely grateful...

Christ is loving, a brother, and a friend, completely understanding of us - his sheep. In my talks with the LORD and Christ, it has been really revealing. God has the most amazing sense of humour, hahaha, I was oh man, I'm going to regret posting this... I was on the toilet this morning and I heard God repeat in my mind - OUT YOU COME IN JESUS NAME, OUT YOU COME! And I was what the... Hahaha, I, I couldn't contain my laughter and they were laughing. Just amazing, loving, it's been a real joy.

I hope I don't offend anyone with that but God speaks to us all individually, he speaks to me in humour and love but his humour is just... Hilarious. Beyond hilarious! And this is why I love the LORD and his Only Son because they get to the root of my very soul and talk to me in a way where they'll know I'll respond with quirky humour with great love behind it.

Yes, we each have such an individual relationship with Him that is so familiar and known with Him that it's hard to explain to others! He lives with me as my Bridegroom and the ways He speaks to me and interacts with me is personally tailored just for ME AND HIM. It's amazing. I used to wonder if I was just another "sheep in the fold" or a "face amongst many in His fold", but He has shown me that He lives with me and IN me as if I'm His only one. Amazing. He tailors His humor, His love and thoughts to each of us individually.... wow. I could think on this all day! Glad you shared.

I feel we are possibly the "generation" to see His coming and He chooses at what point in the age we will live. Each member of His body is placed where He wants it and at what TIME in this age for His purposes. He will will give us what we need to "stand" in this hour. If we stand, it will be HIM IN us standing, not us.

I've imagined Jesus in Joseph's shop, being the oldest he would have been learning carpentry early. His first lesson, the first thing a carpenter would teach his son is, 'boy, this is a broom, I work and you sweep'. Jesus would have just said, 'Yes father' and stared sweeping up the shop.
