that's true...but it's also the time of year when we do kind deeds for others and focus on the true meaning of the holiday

i know someone who tried to get clean in order to please the Lord and failed repeatedly for a year. she told me when she stopped TRYING and sincerely asked the Lord for a way out, He made a circumstance which disgusted her and allowed the desire to fall away.
i think she said that the TRYING part, although intended for the purpose of a sacrifice of sorts for the Lord, was also a matter of pride, while the Lord treasures a humble heart. also, the way the desire left her made it clear to her that it was from the Lord, and not by her strength

I am in the process of looking for a new church with a good singles ministry. The one I used to attend doesn't have anything and we kind of feel left out of everything...if you know what I mean.

well I don't have a church at the moment
was raised Methodist though
I guess you would say I am a word of faith believer that is I believe every word that is in the bible and believe it is all for us and we can have it all with faith
