You may also be helped by the discovery in the Oracles committed to the namesake people of the New Man name, that the True Ark of the Covenant is ----[drumroll please]---- The adopted Saints!

Everything in the Law is a living oracle about the Person and work of Christ, our High King and High Priest/ our Kinsman-Redeemer/ "the God of the whole earth", as second Man, named "Israel", who is "EL-ELOHE-ISRAEL" =God, the Mighty God, Israel"
Isa 54:5 For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

When we are adopted, we become the True Ark of the everlasting Covenant, and as in the type that Moses made, in which the Testimony/Witness and the Decalogue were sealed and bound, we are also sealed and bound with the True Testimony and the True Law written on our New Man hearts, while we await, hidden in Christ with God, as His True Ark of the Covenant, to come forth in His New Man image on that Day when He opens the Ark and we come forth in the New Man image, so to speak.

Isaiah 8: 13-
The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread.

And he will become a sanctuary, and a stone of offense, and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And many shall stumble thereon; they shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken."
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
And I will wait on the Lord, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope in Him. Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.
Types for teaching us about being the True Ark of the Covenant, encased in plated gold, made of wood, and crowned with the solid gold crown, and under the "Head/Cover/ -our Firstborn Father- of solid Gold, incorruptible, hidden, and waiting in "pupa" stage, metamorphosing from glory to glory while He is changing us, are all through the Torah and Jesus' Gospel, and in the letters of the NT.

To be a disciple/student is to be a "pupil", which is from the word "pupa". Just as the "pupa" is encased in the crysalis [from the word for "gold"], so we who are "dead" and are made alive in Christ, are, until the opening of the True Ark of the Covenant, "hid with Christ in God", sealed with that Holy Spirit of Witness, and with the True New Man heart, on which is written the Law of the New Man, and as born again in Christ believers, we are entered into the True Sabbath Rest of His Peace, with God [as Hebrews 4 teaches us]..

Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Plumbing the depths of the Word is where true riches are found, for our instruction, but as "Salvation is of the Jews", we can know nothing if we do not learn the Living Oracles and what they mean for our redemption in Christ, who is the "end/goal" of the Torah.

In fact, if we dare to be "teachers" in His Church, then we are required to learn the abc's of the Oracles, for our instruction in Christ and His work for our redemption.

Hbr 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

in speaking of Jesus' death
for us,
and our death and resurrection...
it is vital to remember...

Jesus is the eternal member of the Trinity...
one of the Godhead,
not a created being, not a created thing...

He 'became' a man...
but is eternal... and is the Creator of all
things, not a created being...

one of the misunderstood points
is typology...
is that there are 'types' of Christ Jesus...

Jesus is not the 'type' but each
type in some way illustrates something
about Him

One type often mentioned is the LAMB.
The picture of the lamb,
is a beautiful way to teach
the reality of Jesus’ nature and work for us.

We can view in clearness, His way and manner
of approaching the sacrifice He gave for us...

Typology should not replace the reality,
but should make the reality more clear,
more understood.

We miss much if we do not get
the groundwork of typology correct.

It can also be related to the
foundation of a building,...
and to have a good foundation in typology,
strengthens the beauty and reality
of the structure upon such foundation.

There are two kinds of truth in Scripture.

Hebrews 5:12-14
"For when for the time,
ye ought to be teachers,
ye have need that one teach you again
which be the first principles
of the oracles of God;
and are become such as have need of milk,
and not of strong meat.
For every one that useth milk
is unskilled in the word of righteousness;
for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them
that are of full age;
even those who by reason of use
have their senses exercised
to discern both good and evil."

Milk and meat...
are one way to describe truths in the Word.

Meat represents the deeper truths,
and milk represents the basic, simpler truths.

Typology contains both,
and yet, by its nature,
it is like a bridge,
to carry us from the milk to the meat...

It takes a truth, puts it in simple form,
and then allows, or encourages,
deeper seeking into that ‘milk’ truth,
to find a ‘meat’ revelation.

I Corinthians 10:11
"these things,
written for our admonition’

Hebrews 8:4-5
"Who serve as an example and
shadow of heavenly things"

Hebrews 9:8-9
"which was a figure for the time present"

Hebrews 10:1
"... law having a shadow of good things to come..."

The words ‘shadow’, ‘example’, ‘pattern’...
all contain the idea we refer to as ‘types’.

Types are used to prefigure some person,
thing, or event
that would appear in the future.

Types are a ‘sort of’ prophecy.

Prophetically, types show us what was to come....
and the type shows the foreknowledge
and planning of an Almighty God.

The ark of the covenant,
and the mercy seat upon it...
are types of Jesus....
of the eternal One of the Trinity,
that comes between sinful man
and God the Father,
and provides mercy, blood sprinkled
atonement for us...

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT
is a chest (or box) that was actually
a replica of the throne of God in heaven.
it was made of achaia wood,
overlaid with gold.

Inside it was
the tables of the law given on Mt. Sinai,
the bowl of manna,
and the rod of God.

On top of this ark, was the mercy seat,
upon which the blood
was sprinkled each year
on the day of atonement.

The shekinah glory presence of God
dwelt between the two golden cherubim
atop the mercy seat.

THE MERCY SEAT itself was a
slab of solid gold
had cherubim of beaten gold
arising from each end.

When the presence of God looked down
through the mercy seat to the law
within the ark,
He had to look through the blood.

Leviticus 16:14
"And he shall take of the
blood of the bullock,
and sprinkle it with his finger
upon the mercy seat eastward;
and before the mercy seat
shall he sprinkle of the blood
with his finger seven times."

Christ was prefigured by this mercy seat,
it is a type or shadow of what He is to us
in our atonement. It is not Him, Himself,
for He is an eternal being, from everlasting
to everlasting.
He is like a mercy seat
when God looks at us.
God, the Father, sees us through Jesus, the Second Person of the Trinity,
and therefore God does not judge, for
Jesus, our Mercy Seat, has provided
the blood of atonement for us.

Jesus is not a 'Lamb' but a lamb
is a type of Jesus...
Jesus is not a branch, but is like a branch
that bears fruit...
Jesus is not the veil of the Temple,
but His body was torn to make access
for us to the Father

Jesus is not the mercy seat itself,
it was a type to illustrate truth...

There is a literal mercy seat in heaven,
i.e. the throne of God,
and Jesus literally sprinkled His blood upon
it, fulfilling the typology....

It is a illustration of what all
three of the Godhead
intended and finally completed doing for us...

"Mercy seat"
comes from the Greek word
"hilasterion"
which means
"place where sin is satisfied..."

Murjaheel. You would benefit greatly [I think], in studying the truths of the Oracles, as Messianic Jews who have grasped them can teach them. Not all do, but many do, and many have glimpses that others have more glimpses of, that, together, make a whole part of the understanding of Christ and His Redeemed, represented in the Mercy Seat Cover and the Ark under it, as typed by Moses.

We who are "Hid with Christ in God" are the True Mercy Seat, and in our born again in Christ hearts the True Witness and "Torah/Word" are sealed and bound. Being "Hid in with Christ in God", we are being changed, that is, morphosed, from" glory to glory", by the Spirit in us and us in Him, while we await the day of our emergence/complete metamorphosis into the image of the New Man body of Christ, when we receive the "crown of Gold" -which is LIFE, in the body of immortality that we have the promise of, by the taste of Glory sent, when we are born again.

2Cr 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Chrysalis is "gold", and a pupa is undergoing metamorphosis of the elements of its life, while hid in the chrysalis.
From pupa we get "student/pupil/disciple", and while we are Hid with Christ in God, we are undergoing metamorphosis by His Spirit in us, and we will "emerge" from the Ark in the image of Christ's New Man body.
When that happens, the "Ark of the Covenant" -we who are now hid with Christ in God- will be seen in the temple in heaven.
Rev 11:19
And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Typology is rich in the Word, for what the Person and Work of Christ in flesh means, for us, in the redemption of us and in the translation of us, elementally, into the New Man body, like His.

When we come to the True Mercy Seat in heaven, we are coming by His Living Spirit in us, to Christ, sitting on His throne as Our Head/Firstborn, in His New Creation Human being body of flesh; and in that flesh, He is the "Everlasting Father" of us who are adopted into His Living Spirit.

"Mercy seat"
comes from the Greek word
"hilasterion"
which means
"place where sin is satisfied..."

The Greek word "hilasterion" is from the Hebrew Word which means "Mercy Seat", and also the offering upon it.
So we are covered by the blood of Christ when we are "under His Cover", hid with Him, as the true Ark of the Covenant, undergoing metamorphosis while we are in the Ark/chrysalis of our "discipleship".

Exd 25:17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat [of] pure gold: two cubits and a half [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. ...
Exd 25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. ...
Exd 25:40 And look that thou make [them] after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth/προτίθημι protithēmi [to be] [a/the] propitiation/ἱλαστήριον hilastērion =Mercy Seat] through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
propitiation/ἱλαστήριον hilastērion a) used of the cover of the ark of the covenant in the Holy of Holies, which was sprinkled with the blood of the expiatory victim on the annual day of atonement

On the Cross, Jesus was "set forth" as our true Mercy Seat.
He was "lifted up from the earth, so as to draw all men unto Him" by the public display of His body on the cross as the Mercy Seat for our Atonement, once, for all.

set forth/προτίθημι protithēmi 1) to place before, to set forth
a) to set forth to be looked at, expose to view
b) to expose to public view
1) of the bodies of the dead
2) to let lie in state

Now look at Psalm 118, describing the Day the LORD hath prepared, from the foundation of the world, when our God was bound to the horns of the altar of sacrifice, to become our entrance into the City of God and our Salvation/Yeshua, as "the Stone which the builders rejected".

When Jesus ascended, His work as Firstborn and High Priest for our atonement/Peace with God was completed. The is proven by the Word, and the fact of the resurrection of His own body which was and is the True Mercy Seat, incorruptible, and of the saints He gathered from the dead to take into the temple in heaven to fulfill "First of Firstfruits as typed in the Law. His Work was finished on the cross, and there was nothing more to do in heaven to finish the Work, but to go celebrate there as the Everlasting Father and High Priest of earth, bringing the sheaves gathered as the wave offering as the Law typed, for that Day.

This subject is on 'death'...
for the Christian,
it is not a scary subject...
it is a step to heaven...

what could be scary about that?

Jesus, the second Person of the Trinity,
equal to God the Father,
co-Advocate with the Holy Spirit,
has in His (Jesus') death,
resurrection, ascension...
secured for all His own to be
conquerors of death with Him...

Death has no hold on the Christian,

we are promised resurrection...

Some explanations of 'death'
that I have heard over the years
are pathetic...
scary... boring... confusing...

someone once said...
'deep waters are not muddy,
muddy waters are not deep...'

and some explanations
are as muddy as one can get
without becoming solid ground...
and that is not 'deep'
lol

We are promised life in Jesus...
we already have it in soul and spirit,
we are soon to claim in in the
'redemption of the body',
and receive our eternal body...

This body of mine has been dying
for many years...
when I was four the doctors told
my parents that I had six months to
live and there was no cure...
Jesus said different, so
many years later, I am still here...

when 17, another doctor gave me
20 years to live, and 49 years later,
I am still here...

death does not scare me...
sometimes I wish I could quit
disappointing the doctors...
but Jesus keeps intervening in those
and other 'near departure' events...
so, to the chagrin of some, I am
still here... I share your disappointment...
LOL

Death does not need to be scary,
in fact, it should not be anything
but 'gain' to us...
as Paul said...
'for me to live is Christ,
and to die is gain'

the resurrection/rapture event
is going to be a top highlight event
of our lives, we will talk about how
it was for us for millennia (or longer)...

seeing Jesus in the clouds will be
a wonder to describe to each other...
what it will be like to get that first
post resurrection/rapture hug from
Him will be indescribable...

quit fretting death...

where is your faith???

what do you fear???
Jesus?
heaven's surprises?
do you think your throne will be
too hard for you?

come on?

what is it you fear?

the only legitimate fear
is the fear of NOT making it...
and that can be settled with
a salvation prayer of repentance
and faith in Jesus...

does not sound too hard to me !

THE MISTREATMENT & DEATH
OF JESUS
WAS
THE WORST AND MOST WONDERFUL
DEATH EVER

The mistreatment of Jesus was incredible, and hard to believe that they could enjoy doing these things to One Whom no one could find a charge that was true to incriminate Him as worthy of mistreatment.

Here was One Who had healed the sick, raised the dead, taught love and mercy, and offered salvation to all who would accept...
and they did these horrible things to Him.

Matthew 27:27-32
"...stripped Him, put on a scarlet robe...
crown of thorns,
reed in His right hand (mock sceptre),
bowed the knee and mocked Him...
spit on Him...
took reed and smote Him on the head...
mocked Him,
took robe off Him and put on His own raiment...
led Him away to crucify Him..
found a man of Cyrene... Simon..
compelled to bear His cross..."

This was sport to these soldiers... They enjoyed the mistreatment. People may watch gory movies on television, and yet, it is far beyond that to treat people as these men did Jesus.

THE CRUCIFIXION
Four soldiers were detailed to each cross in those days. They were under the command of a centurion. The centurion led the way, and carried a white wooden board on which was written the crime of the one to be crucified. It was this sign, that Pilate ordered to be put upon the top of the cross. It angered the Jews, for it had no crime written upon it... For Jesus, it read- "The King of the Jews..." This was the charge they brought to Pilate, and there was no wrong of Jesus to put upon the cross... so Pilate had them carry a sign bearing the one truth about Jesus that caused these Jews to want Jesus dead.

Usually the longest way to the place of crucifixion was taken, to attract public attention, some feel that it was different here because of the nearness of the Passover. Jesus was followed by two thieves who each had their own soldiers.

Matthew 27:33-44
"..come unto a place called Golgotha,
i.e. to say, a place of a skull...
gave Him vinegar... mingled with gall,
when He had tasted thereof,
He would not drink...
crucified Him... parted His garments,
casting lots... sitting down,
watched Him there...
set over His head the accusation,
'This is Jesus, the King of the Jews...'
two thieves crucified with Him...
they that passed by reviled Him,
wagging their heads,
... If Thou be the Son of God,
come down from the cross...
chief priests, mocking Him,
scribes and elders said, He saved others,
Himself He cannot save...
let Him come down from the cross
and we will believe Him..."

When a person was crucified, the cross was first laid down upon the ground. The sufferer was laid upon it. A strong nail was driven first into the right hand, and then into the left. A rest for the body was fastened to the cross. The feet were then nailed, either together, or separately. The body was hoisted on the cross, and the body hung two to three feet above the ground level. The sign was put atop the cross before it was raised up from the ground. Upon that type of cross was our Lord nailed...

Matthew 27:45-46
"...sixth hour (noon), darkness over all the earth till the
ninth hour (3 p.m.)...
'Eli, Eli, lama, sabachthani...' = 'My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me (see Psalms 22)...
cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost...
veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom,
earth did quake... rocks rent...
centurion and they with him said, Surely this was the Son of God... many women were beholding from afar off..."

THE WOMEN
With John, some women knelt at the foot of that cross that held the body of Jesus.
1. Mary, the mother of Jesus,
2. the sister of Mary,
3. Mary, the wife of Clopas (who was the mother of Matthew and James the less),
4. and Mary Magdalene

Matthew tells us there were three women there, but that is because John had led Mary back from the cross... they were "beholding from afar...(John 19:25)"

THE DARKNESS

The darkness was unusual. This was Passover time, and the Passover is always at the time of the full moon. There cannot be an eclipse of the sun at the time of the full moon. This as some sort of unnatural darkness. There was an eclipse of the sun that year, but it was on November 24th.

To us, darkness is the absence of light. Scientists have discovered that in space there is another kind of darkness, called a dark nebula. It is a darkness with substance, that will not allow light to pass through it. This darkness can be felt, and God sent some of that darkness to the earth for the three hour period. This same darkness afflicted the Egyptians during time of the exodus...

A shrine in Egypt says of this darkness that no one "could see the face of those beside them," and that there was three days of such darkness.

THE VEIL

The veil in the temple was 60 feet long, 30 feet wide, and was five inches thick. It took 300 priests to manipulate this veil. It separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place. The High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies within the veil only one day a year... The day of Atonement. God announced to the world that this was the day of Atonement for the world... and the veil was rent from the top to the bottom.

Tacitus (Hist 5:13), Josephus (Jew. Wars 6:5, 3), the Talmud (Jer.Yoma 43C, Yoma 39b) and other early Christian writings confirm the rending of the veil, the darkness, and other events of that day.

The huge lintel that held up the veil was broken, and fell. Jerome says that this happened at the time of the rending of the veil. Josephus says that the middle light of the golden lampstand in the Holy Place was extinguished at that time. Josephus and the Talmud tell us that the gates of the Temple opened by themselves at that time also.

God announced to the world, opening the gates with His mighty power, breaking the lintel, and tearing the veil from the top to bottom... that the way was now clear for man to repent and enter into the very presence of God. The saints who had earlier died and gone to Paradise within the earth could now go directly to heaven... into the very throne room of God... because of what Jesus had just done for us on the cross... paying our penalty of death...

THE BURIAL

Matthew 27:57-61
"...when the even was come.. rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph... Jesus' disciple... went to Pilate... begged the body of Jesus... Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.. Joseph had taken the body, wrapped in clean linen cloth... laid Him in his own tomb... rolled a great stone to the door and departed..."
The devil tries to prevent a resurrection as predicted by the Lord. He has the chief priests and Pharisees reason with Pilate to seal, and guard the tomb... and keep that rock in front of the door.
Matthew 27:62-66
"... next day (Thursday) that followed the day of preparation.. chief priests... Pharisees came together to Pilate... remember... After three days I will rise again... command... the sepulchre be made sure until the third day... ye have a watch (a guard of 4 soldiers), go your way and make it as sure as you can... sealing (cord and clay fastened to each end of the stone to know if it has been opened) the stone and setting a watch..."

What makes this DEATH so wonderful,
happened three days later...
STAY TUNED

The saints who had earlier died and gone to Paradise within the earth

No Way! Paradise -Eden-is above, in the heavenly -stretched out breadth- of this earth.

Paradise is what Adam lost, in the fall, not what he went to when he died and descended to Sheol to the place of waiting for the Atonement which was to come.

The word paradise comes from the same root as the Hebrew word Pardes, meaning orchard. http://www.e-therapies.net/articles/Healin_In_The_Four_Worlds.pdf
Paradise is what Jesus came to ransom us back for, by putting away the remembrance of sin by the Atonement; and so, then, cleansing us in souls, and adopting us into His One New Man by His One Living Spirit; and by that finished work to give us the entrance into Eden, as adopted sons of God, which is where we got cast out of, and down to the earth below, when we fell in Adam, our first father, from whose loins we have sprung in our appointed seasons.

Enoch saw the Garden of God
and it was not in Sheol below, and Enoch saw the Watchers who dwell there, interceding for men; and he longed to go there with great desire, and was granted to go there by the Son of Man [the Prince of Peace, who was to come in flesh] by being translated in spirit and flesh, so that he could be in the congregation of the sons of God on high.
That is the destiny of the redeemed, to be in the congregation of the sons of God, which is what we were created to be, in Adam.

Enoch visits the Garden of Eden, which is Paradise which Adam lost access to as a fallen defiled, former son of God [of the human being kind]

The Garden of Righteousness
32 And after these fragrant odours, as I looked towards the north over the mountains I saw seven mountains full of choice nard and fragrant trees and cinnamon and pepper. 2And thence I went over the summits of all these mountains, far towards the east of the earth, and passed above the Erythraean sea and went far from it, and passed over the angel Zotiel.

3And I came to the Garden [Paradise] of Righteousness, and saw beyond those trees many large trees growing there and of goodly fragrance, large, very beautiful and glorious, and the tree of wisdom whereof they eat and know great wisdom. 4That tree is in height like the fir, and its leaves are like those of the Carob tree: and its fruit is like the clusters of the vine, very beautiful: and the fragrance of the tree penetrates afar.
5Then I said: "How beautiful is the tree, and how attractive is its look!"
6Then Raphael the holy angel, who was with me, answered me and said: "This is the tree of wisdom, of which thy father old in years and thy aged mother, who were before thee, have eaten, and they learnt wisdom and their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked and they were driven out of the garden."

Sometimes the Bible has the word
"sheol" translated "hell,"
and sometimes "the grave."

But "sheol" is not just "hell,"
but includes hell, as well as paradise,
where the righteous souls went
at death until Jesus's resurrection.

Sheol was the "lower parts of the earth,
" the "nether parts of the earth,"
and the "heart of the earth."

Sheol is shown in the Bible to include
hell,
paradise (Abraham's bosom),
a great gulf (pit or abyss),
and the garden of Eden.

Christ went to the "lower parts of the earth"
at His death,
but did not go to hell-fire,
He was in paradise that day
with the saved thief from the cross.

The Jewish people called paradise
"Abraham's bosom."
Paradise is located in the lower parts of the earth,
(Matthew 12:40; Ephesians 4:8-10).

"Paradise" comes from the Greek word "paradeisos."
It means a park, a pleasure ground,
a forest or orchard.

In the Septuaguint, the word "paradeisos"
is used for the garden of Eden.

Before the resurrection of Christ,
the righteous saints were taken to paradise.

After "the Lamb of God" had provided
the atonement for mankind,
the saints were liberated from paradise
and went to heaven.

Ephesians 4:8-10
"When He ascended up on high,
He led captivity captive,
and gave gifts unto men.
Now that He ascended, what is it,
but that He also descended
first into the lower parts of the earth."

Angels carried the righteous souls to this compartment,
but men carried their bodies to the grave.

Luke 16:22-26
"... beggar died and was carried by the angels
to Abraham's bosom..."

Luke 23:43
"Today, thou shalt be with Me in paradise."
This is what Jesus truthfully spoke, just before
He went to spend three days
"in the herat of the earth' (Matt 12:40)..
so, if He is in the heart of the earth, in sheol,
and in 'Paradise' with the repentant thief...
we have a logical conclusion...
paradise is in the heart of the earth...

it is the 'third heave' spoken of by Paul...
more on that later..

Jonah went to paradise while dead in the fish.

Jonah 2:2
"... out of the belly of hell (sheol) cried I..."

Jonah 2:6-7
"I went down to the bottoms of the mountains;
the earth with her bars was about me forever."

Jesus was there during the three days
and three nights his body was dead.

Psalms 16:10
"thou wilt not leave My soul in hell (sheol),
neither wilt thou suffer Thine Holy One
to see corruption."

1 Peter 3:19
"By which also He went and preached
unto the spirits in prison."

Since the resurrection of Jesus,
saints do not go to paradise,
but now go directly to heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:8
"...to be absent from the body,
and to be present with the Lord."

Philippians 1:21-24
"having a desire to depart and to be with Christ..."

Another part of sheol is hell (hades).
This is the torment part of sheol,
and the lowest part of sheol.

Deuteronomy 32:22
"a fire is kindled...
shall burn unto the lowest hell (sheol)."

Psalms 86:13
"thou hast delivered my soul
from the lowest hell (sheol)."

Proverbs 9:18
"her guests are in the depths of hell (sheol)."

Luke 16:19-31
"rich man... in hell (hades) he lifted up
his eyes, being in torment...
I am tormented in the flame."

The "great gulf" that was between hell
and paradise in the story of the rich man
and Lazarus is the "pit," the "abyss,"
and the "bottomless pit"
that the Bible speaks about.

Here, fallen angels and many evil demons
are shown to be bound.

The Jews taught that the spirit
hovered about the body for three days after death.

This is likely the reason why Jesus
waited until the fourth day to resurrect Lazarus,
so the Jews could not claim that Lazarus
was not truly dead.

Here, in the "Prophecy of Ezra",
we are told that the spirits
of the righteous have up to 7 days
of being shown things
before they arrive at the habitation where
they were to go, in that day it was paradise.

So Jesus did not descend to Sheol below, in that view, for three days and three nights, when His soul departed His incorruptible flesh, New Man body?

You put out an awful lot of stuff that is not backed up with any Scripture, and which contradicts Scripture.

You forgot that there is "death/θάνατος thanatos" the state of being dead, which is a separation, and the separation from the Glory happened at the fall of our first father, and so, passed to all we, who are his seed, and is ended at the finished work of the cross, in that we are born again in Spirit, but not yet in body, so θάνατος thanatos continues in this body of death, which we wear, in Adam. We have the promise of the end of θάνατος thanatos for our bodies, at the time of our "change, whether at resurrection of the elements of our dust bodies from death, or the change of them at the rapture of the living.

-θάνατος thanatos of spirit is why the righteous held in Sheol below could ascend into Paradise in heaven's realm immediately, when Jesus finished the work on the cross, and died, because the veil was rent and the walls of partition were cast down -which was signed in the earthquake at His death. As soon as He died, He delivered the sins nd iniquities laid on His soul to Azazel below, and the saints held in captivity were set free to ascend to PAradise above, as born again in Spirit "perfected" saints who have their habitation in the City of God, on Mount Zion which is Mount Eden, of the heavenly realm.

For that reason, the thief on the cross could immediately, at his own death on the cross, ascend into Paradise above, where the Son of Man was, who was also come down to earth incarnate in New Man flesh and doing the Work He came to do for the ransom of our souls and bodies and the adoption of us into His One Living Spirit; and at that time of the thief's ascent into Paradise, The soul of Jesus the Christ come in flesh, was already descended into Sheol below.
How can that be, that the thief could ascend into Paradise above to be with the Son of Man there, and the Son of Man come in flesh be in Sheol, below? -Because the Son of Man/God the Word, is in the New Man nature, but not out of heaven, and is in both heaven and in the New Man nature, simultaneously, as Jesus shows us in John 3:13.

Jhn 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.

Sheol is shown in the Bible to include
hell,
paradise (Abraham's bosom),
a great gulf (pit or abyss),
and the garden of Eden.
You have no Scripture that says any such thing: Zero, Nada, None!
-and Enoch contradicts you, also, as I posted.
Paradise is "orchard -garden", and Mount Eden is in the heavenly realm of this earth, as Enoch showed us in his writings, for he visited it, and is living there with the Watchers.

Abraham's "bosom" was comfort for the beggar Lazarus, not the Garden of Eden which Adam got cast down from at the fall.
Eden was not put in Sheol below earth when Adam fell, but Adam was shut out of it so that he could not eat the fruit of the Tree of Life and so, live forever in the dead, defiled, ruined, fallen flesh, cut off from being a son of God by the departure of the Glory from his being, with no possibility for regeneration -which is the state of the resurrected in Adam, of the unrepentant, who are resurrected in their bodies that Jesus died to ransom back from corruption, for the Glory, which they did not accept,. In those bodies they will exist forever, with no possibility to be changed/morphosed into the New Man image, for the Glory, ever. Cast aways they will be; rejects, undying worms, captive in the second death, which is the Lake of Fire, and souls in body, they will be "food" for the satans for eternity, unending.

In our discussion of death,
in the O.T. period,
righteous souls went to the center of the earth,
inside, where there in part of sheol, they
waited for Jesus to atone for their sins,
so they could go to heaven ...

Let's re-examine a place mentioned in Ezekiel.

'NETHER PARTS OF THE EARTH'

Ezekiel 31:14, 16, 32:18, 24
"...they are all delivered unto death,
to the nether parts of the earth,
in the midst of the children of men,
with them that go down to the pit...
I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell (sheol)
with them that descend in the pit (bor);
and all the trees of Eden,
the choice and the best of Lebanon,
all that drink water,
shall be comforted in
the nether parts of the earth...
Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt,
and cast them down, even her,
and the daughters of the famous nations,
unto the nether parts of the earth,
with them that go down to the pit (bor)...
...which are gone down uncircumcised
into the nether parts of the earth,
which caused their terror in the land of the living;
yet they have borne their shame
with them that go down to the pit (bor)..."

The word "nether"
comes from the Hebrew word "tact ti".

It means "the lower most,"

"depths," as "a womb," or "a pit..."
So the "nether parts of the earth"
are the parts within the earth.
The Bible usually refers to this place as "sheol".

"Sheol" is mentioned by name
65 times in the Old Testament.
It is translated:
"grave" 31 times,
"hell" 31 times,
and "pit" three times.

It surprises many that the garden of Eden
is within the earth, in sheol.
It is in the "nether parts of the earth",
in the womb of the earth...
The "nether parts of the earth"
were protected from the flood.
This is shown in Ezekiel 31;15,
wherein "sheol" is called the
"deep."

The "waters of the deep" flooded the earth,
in addition to the waters of 40 days rain...
But the Lord had the waters
pour out of the "deep",
but then closed up the chasms
from which the waters came.

This protected the "nether parts of the earth"
from the flood.

Ezekiel 31;15
"I covered the deep for him,
and I restrained the floods thereof,
and the great waters were stayed..."

This is the same "garden of Eden"
where Satan was:
Ezekiel 31:9
"...so that all the trees of Eden,
that were in garden of God, envied him..."

Sheol is a place other than the graves in which the bodies of the dead are put.

It is the place where all the spirits of the dead resided until the death and resurrection of Jesus allowed the righteous spirits to depart paradise and go directly to heaven.

The wicked spirits of men and evil demons still are sent to this "sheol" to await judgment day.

Part of "Sheol" is called "Abraham's bosom..."

Luke 16:22
"And it came to pass, that the beggar died,
and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom..."

This part of "Sheol" is also called "paradise"...

Luke 23:43
"Verily, I say unto thee,
Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise..."

Sheol is not the grave.
The proper word for "grave" is the Hebrew word "qeber-mnaymion".

That word is often translated "hell"
and should not have been.

The Hebrew word "sheol"
and the Greek word "hades"
should never be translated "grave".

"Sheol" is often translated "hell" incorrectly.

"Sheol" is from the Hebrew word "she-owl".

It refers to a "sub-terranean retreat,
or underground place..."

Ezekiel 31:16-17
"I made the nations to shake at the sound

of his fall,
when I cast him down to

hell (sheol) with them that descend in the pit (bor);
and all the trees of Eden,

the choice and the best of Lebanon,
all that drink water,
shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth...
They also went down into hell (sheol)
with him unto them that be slain with the sword..."

Ezekiel 32:21, 27
"The strong among the mighty shall speak
to him out of the midst of hell (sheol)
with them that help him...
they shall not lie with the mighty
that are fallen of the uncircumcised,
which are gone down to hell (sheol)
with their weapons of war..."

"Sheol" is synonymous with
"nether parts of the earth..."

It is referred to many times in the Bible.

Some years ago, some scientists mocked the Christian concept of an underworld, wherein there is hell, paradise, and an abyss. The scientists claimed that inside the middle of earth was only molten metal.

Many Christians felt unscientific, and felt that science had dis-proven the Bible.

So many preachers and Bible teachers began to shy away from the Bible truths, and to omit explanation of even the word "sheol."

Science has recently proven that the earth is too light to be solid.
They know that inside the earth somewhere is a very large empty area...
Many scientists know this as the "hollow earth theory."
It is accepted by even un-Christian scientists,
for most Christians have never been taught enough in depth to know about "sheol".

The entrance to "sheol" is "down".
Numbers 16:30-33
"...the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up... went down alive to the pit (sheol)... perished..."

Sheol is said to be in the "heart of the earth..."
Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonah was three days and three nights
in the belly of the whale,
so shall the Son of man
be three days and three nights
in the heart of the earth..."

Sheol is in the "lower parts of the earth...."

Ephesians 4:8-10
"When He ascended up on high,
He led captivity captive...
also descended first into the lower parts of the earth..."

THE RESURRECTION of Jesus
guarantees our resurrection from death...

Matthew 28:1-7
"...at the end of the sabbath..
began to dawn toward the first day of the week,
came Mary Magdalene,
and the other Mary...
great earthquake,
for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven
and came and rolled back the stone
from the door and sat upon it...
his countenance like lightning and
his raiment white as snow...
for fear of him the keepers did shake
and became as dead men...
Fear not (to the women this is said),
I know you seek Jesus Who was crucified,
He is not here, for He is risen...
Come see the place where the Lord lay...
go quickly and tell His disciples
that He is risen from the dead,
behold He goes before you into Galilee,
and there ye shall see Him,
lo, I have told you..."

Jesus was resurrected about six on Saturday evening...
He was already out of the tomb when the angel
rolled away the stone early Sunday morning.

The stone was rolled away,
not to allow Jesus to come out,
but to allow the women to look within
to see that Jesus was gone...

THE WORD SPREADS -BY THE WOMEN

Matthew 28:8-10
"they (the women) departed quickly
with fear and great joy
and did run to bring His disciples word...
Jesus met them, saying All hail...
came... held Him by the feet
and worshiped Him...
Be not afraid, tell My brethren..
go into Galilee and there they shall see Me..."

THE WORD SPREADS - BY THE SOLDIERS

Matthew 28:11
"...some of the watch came into the city
and shewed unto the chief priests
all the things that were done..."

CONSPIRACY TO QUIET THE NEWS

Matthew 28:12-15
"...taken counsel...
gave large money unto the soldiers...
say ye, His disciples came by night and stole
Him away while we slept...
took the money and did as they were taught,
this saying is commonly reported by the Jews unto this day..."

This conspiracy was absurd because:

1. There was death penalty for sleeping
on guard duty...

2. The earthquake would have awakened them...

3. The size of the stone took
more than one to move,
and the struggle to do so
would have awakened the guards...

4. If the guards were asleep,
how did they know who took the body???

5. Hundreds of eyewitnesses saw
the risen Lord...

DISCIPLES MEET THE RISEN LORD

Matthew 28:16-17
"the eleven disciples went into Galilee
into a mountain where Jesus
had appointed them
and when they saw Him,
they worshiped Him, but some
doubted (distazo = hesitated)..."

Jesus' followers recognized His face and voice
(Matthew 28:9).

They touched His body
(Matthew 28:9).

He ate with them
(John 21:12).

He pointed out to them that a ghost does not
have flesh and bones as they saw clearly that Jesus had
(Luke 24:39).

He appeared to them in a locked room
(John 20:19).

He vanished at will
(Luke 24:31).

He ascended into heaven before the
disciples and many other witnesses
(Acts 1).

If the resurrection had been a gross lie,
such a lie is incompatible
with their afterward heroism and martyrdom.

If it were a vision, and not real,
it in no way agrees with the many details,
and circumstances narrated
about the risen Lord
(touched, handled, eat with, appear
to 5000 at once, empty tomb...)

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Following the resurrection,
the Lord gave the Great Commission
to the disciples...
and it is passed on to each of us!

Matthew 28:18-20
"Jesus came and spake unto them saying,
All power is given unto Me
in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you,
and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the world (age)."

The commission is for us to:
"go",
"teach"
(matheteuo = make disciples),
"baptize",
and to "teach"
(didasko = give instruction),
to all peoples.

The crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus
is the most vital message in the world,
and the one the early church took to proclaim
as they fulfilled this great commission of the Lord.

We need to get back to fundamentals,
and proclaim that same message - !!!

Sheol and hell are from a Hebrew word which means "hollow".
Enoch went to Sheol below earth, and the Garden of Righteousness was not, nor ever was, there, but there were four hollows made, and separated, one from another, for the departed souls of men; one of which was for the righteous, with "bright springs of water", as Jesus corroborated in Luke 16.
22 And thence I went to another place, and he showed me in the west another great and high mountain and of hard rock.

2And there was in it four hollow places, deep and wide and very smooth. How smooth are the hollow places and deep and dark to look at.

3Then Raphael answered, one of the holy angels who was with me, and said unto me: "These hollow places have been created for this very purpose, that the spirits of the souls of the dead should assemble therein, yea that all the souls of the children of men should assemble here.

4And these places have been made to receive them till the day of their judgement and till their appointed period till the period appointed, till the great judgement comes upon them."
A Visit to Sheol
5I saw the spirits of the children of men who were dead, and their voice went forth to heaven and made suit.
6Then I asked Raphael the angel who was with me, and I said unto him: "This spirit- whose is it, whose voice goeth forth and maketh suit?"
7And he answered me saying: "This is the spirit which went forth from Abel, whom his brother Cain slew, and he makes his suit against him till his seed is destroyed from the face of the earth, and his seed is annihilated from amongst the seed of men."
8Then I asked regarding it, and regarding all the hollow places: "Why is one separated from the other?"
9And he answered me and said unto me: "These three have been made that the spirits of the dead might be separated.

And such a division has been made for the spirits of the righteous, in which there is the bright spring of water.
10And such has been made for sinners when they die and are buried in the earth and judgement has not been executed on them in their lifetime.

11Here their spirits shall be set apart in this great pain till the great day of judgement and punishment and torment of those who curse for ever and retribution for their spirits. There He shall bind them for ever.
12And such a division has been made for the spirits of those who make their suit, who make disclosures concerning their destruction, when they were slain in the days of the sinners.
13Such has been made for the spirits of men who were not righteous but sinners, who were complete in transgression, and of the transgressors they shall be companions: but their spirits shall not be slain in the day of judgement nor shall they be raised from thence."
14Then I blessed the Lord of glory and said: "Blessed be my Lord, the Lord of righteousness, who ruleth for ever."

Enoch 22:1 From there I was taken to the third place, and he showed me a large, tall mountain toward the west that had four hollow rooms.

22:2 Inside it was very large with smooth walls. Very smooth were those hollow rooms, and beautiful to see.

22:3 Then Raphael, the holy angel who was with me, answered and said: "These hollow rooms are for the spirits of the dead. These places were created for a gathering place of the souls of mankind.

22:4 These rooms will hold these souls until an appointed time that will come in a future time - when a judgment will come upon them."

In paradise, near to the garden that Ezekiel and Enoch agree is also in this area,
we find there to be four 'rooms'.
These rooms were to house the souls of the righteous, that died awaiting the death and resurrection of Jesus.

It was called "Abraham's bosom".
The abyss is between it and the hell-fire in the midst of sheol.

Enoch not only saw heaven, but was escorted to several other places.
The location of several of these sites to which he was taken,
the Bible calls "sheol."

Sheol is shown in the Bible to include hell, paradise (Abraham's bosom), a great gulf (pit or abyss), and the garden of Eden.

Christ went to the "lower parts of the earth" at His death, but did not go to hell-fire,
He was in paradise that day with the saved thief from the cross.

The Jewish people called paradise "Abraham's bosom."
Paradise is located in the lower parts of the earth,
(Matthew 12:40; Ephesians 4:8-10).

"Paradise" comes from the Greek word "paradeisos."
It means a park, a pleasure ground, a forest or orchard.

In the Septuagint, the word "paradeisos" is used for the garden of Eden.

Before the resurrection of Christ, the righteous saints were taken to paradise.

After "the Lamb of God" had provided the atonement for mankind, the saints were liberated from paradise and went to heaven.

Ephesians 4:8-10
"When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Now that He ascended, what is it, but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth."

Angels carried the righteous souls to this compartment, but men carried their bodies to the grave.

Luke 16:22-26
"... beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom..."

Jesus told the one thief on the cross.
Luke 23:43
"Today, thou shalt be with Me in paradise."

Jonah went to paradise while dead in the fish.

Jonah 2:2
"... out of the belly of hell (sheol)
cried I..."

Jonah 2:6-7
"I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me forever."

Jesus was there during the three days and three nights his body was dead.

Psalms 16:10
"thou wilt not leave My soul in hell (sheol), neither wilt thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption."

The Bible, Enoch's book too,
show us definitely that in sheol,
we have both Eden and paradise.

These four rooms are in the part
we call paradise, or Abraham's bosom...

Enoch teaches some about
the abodes of the 'dead'...
here is some more of chapter 22 of Enoch...

Enoch 22:8 Then I asked about these 3 places, "Why is one separated from another?"
22:9 He answered: "These three places are to separate the spirits of the dead.
Thus the righteous souls are kept
from the other two places of judgment.
This third place is like the spring of water and light.
22:10 Likewise, a place for the spirits of sinners who died. Judgment did not come on them during their life -
22:11 but in that place they have judgment, punishment, torment, and they will curse forever. This is a place of vengeance on their souls, and they will forever be bound.
22:12 This place was prepared since the beginning. This place has been separated for the souls of those who yet complain of their destruction in the days of their sin.
22:13 A place is created for the souls of sinners, wicked ones, who will now forever dwell with wicked ones. They will not cease to exist here - nor will they ever escape.
22:14 Then I blessed the Lord of Glory and said: "Blessed be my Lord, the Lord of Glory and Righteousness, who rules everything forever.

Enoch has been shown three places,
the abyss,
hell fire,
and paradise.

In that day, that was most of what was to be seen in sheol.

The ones in hell-fire will always be captives, imprisoned, and in torment.

The ones who once were in paradise, however, only were there until the "Lamb of God" could pay the penalty for sin, and allow them entrance to heaven.

1 Peter 3:19
"By which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison."

Jesus preached a sermon to these souls awaiting Him to come and take them to heaven.
How wonderful a sermon this must have been, perhaps we will learn what all He said to them when we reach heaven.

Since the resurrection of Jesus, saints do not go to paradise, but now go directly to heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:8
"...to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Philippians 1:21-24
"having a desire to depart and to be with Christ..."

Another part of sheol is hell (hades).
This is the torment part of sheol, and the lowest part of sheol.

Deuteronomy 32:22 "a fire is kindled... shall burn unto the lowest hell (sheol)."

Psalms 86:13 "thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell (sheol)."

Proverbs 9:18 "her guests are in the depths of hell (sheol)."

Luke 16:19-31 "rich man... in hell (hades) he lifted up his eyes, being in torment... I am tormented in the flame."

The "great gulf" that was between hell and paradise in the story of the rich man and Lazarus is the "pit," the "abyss," and the "bottomless pit" that the Bible speaks about.

Here, fallen angels and many evil demons are shown to be bound.

Murjahel,
You cannot make a claim that the Garden of God, Paradise, of Eden, was ever cast down to Sheol below earth, by any wording of Ezekiel 31 nor any other passage in the Tenach, NT, Enoch, or Jasher. The "trees" that were cast down to Sheol amongst the "ben Adam" [children of men] were princes/sars of the nations, typed as "trees". The Pharaoh of Egypt being spoken to in that chapter is a "sar" of Egypt, who has fellow sars who all end up in Sheol.

The sars/rulers/Dan/Watchers/ben Elohym who are fallen, and who rule earth rule from Mount Eden in the heavenly realm of earth, as Enoch shows us, and from there, are cast down, when they are judged [or, already there, as in the case of the 200 who are in chained in Sheol since the flood, who took oaths to remain in the "bodies like Adam in which they appeared in when on earth doing God's business", so as to take wives and beget offspring for themselves on earth, and therefore be defiled and never return to their heavenly estate/habitations/spirit bodies].

In Ezekiel chapter 29, we read God's "controversy -a grudge" That God will will settle with the heavenly "prince/sar" of Egypt, who spoke through the reigning mouth of the pharaoah of the Exodus, as is recorded only in Jasher chapter 79:
46 And Pharaoh turned to Moses and Aaron and said to them, I know not the Lord whom you have declared, neither will I send his people.
47 And they answered and said to the king, The Lord God of Gods is his name, and he proclaimed his name over us from the days of our ancestors, and sent us, saying, Go to Pharaoh and say unto him, Send my people that they may serve me.
48 Now therefore send us, that we may take a journey for three days in the wilderness, and there may sacrifice to him, for from the days of our going down to Egypt, he has not taken from our hands either burnt offering, oblation or sacrifice, and if thou wilt not send us, his anger will be kindled against thee, and he will smite Egypt either with the plague or with the sword.
49 And Pharaoh said to them, Tell me now his power and his might; and they said to him, He created the heaven and the earth, the seas and all their fishes, he formed the light, created the darkness, caused rain upon the earth and watered it, and made the herbage and grass to sprout, he created man and beast and the animals of the forest, the birds of the air and the fish of the sea, and by his mouth they live and die.
50 Surely he created thee in thy mother's womb, and put into thee the breath of life, and reared thee and placed thee upon the royal throne of Egypt, and he will take thy breath and soul from thee, and return thee to the ground whence thou wast taken.
51 And the anger of the king was kindled at their words, and he said to them, But who amongst all the Gods of nations can do this? my river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
52 And he drove them from him, and he ordered the labor upon Israel to be more severe than it was yesterday and before.
Adikam said "My River is my own, and I have made it for myself", but the heavenly sar who ruled Egypt from the spiritual realm, which is Mount Eden where Enoch went to and dwells in, put that thought in the mind of, and spoke through the mouth of, Adikam, and we know so because God holds the same "pharaoh/king of Egypt" accountable for those words centuries later, as we read in Ezekiel 29.
Eze 29:2 Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
Eze 29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is] mine own, and I have made [it] for myself. ...
Eze 29:9 And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD: because he hath said, The river [is] mine, and I have made [it].
So in Ezekiel 31, we have heavenly princes in Eden being typed as "trees", and the bringing down of them into Sheol is the same warning to them that God gave in Psalm 82, where we read in the original language the threat to the "ben Elohym" who are the judges of earth ruling from the same Mount Eden of the heavenly realm, set over men, that they shall "die like Adam, the one sar".

In Ezekiel 31 they are threatened to be cast down amongst the "ben Adam" who descend to Sheol.

The "trees" only, as heavenly princes who rule from Eden, who fall, are cast down to Sheol, but God's Orchard/Paradise itself, is never, ever, cast down to Sheol.
That Orchard is where the Tree of Life is, and to claim that the Tree of Life is in Sheol where the souls of men waited for the Atonement which cleansed their souls and which made them acceptable to be regenerated in Spirit [which is the second birth of spirit], and so to be freed from the first death and ascend to Eden above, to Paradise above, in the heavenly realm of this earth, is a totally false doctrine that has no corroborating Scriptures, and even looks ridiculous in comparison to all Scripture.

quote Murjahel:
II Esdras in the apocryphal books

speaks of that...
I call it the "Prophecy of Ezra',
Jerome did a horrible job of translating it,
(on purpose)... and it is largely ignored...
I re-translated it...

the Scriptures that I posted speak
for themselves...
some choose not to see it that way
that I do...

As anyone can see in the copied link at the top of this, the Scriptures you post speak for you, and not for themselves, because you change them to your own private doctrines which cannot be supported unless you do "re-translate" them.

Scriptures must correlate and not contradict. Your re-translations and private isloated from context passages and opinions on those passages do not correlate with the Scriptures, as I have shown with Scriptures which I posted, refuting several of your errors already.

I do not doubt that you have a saving faith in Jesus Christ, but after that, you do not speak for the Holy Spirit and are not a teacher in His Church, because you contradict Him with your confusing teachings that go against what He has said through His prophets.
