Thought I'd start another thread- what is your favorite OTP (fictional relationship) of all time? It can be anything, movies, books, cartoons..... and they don't necessarily have to actually be together, you just have to think they'd be good together.
For me it would be Dracula and Mina. The best "gothic romance" ever. The one everyone imitates but will never, ever be beat. Even if they don't have many scenes together in Bram Stoker's novel, they have a connection that takes on a life of its own.

I want to marry Sydney Carton as played by Dirk Bogarde. I don't want the whole Lucie Manette-Charles Darnay-Sydney Carton love triangle, but by the end of the book (not so much the movie) I really wished she *spoiler* would've picked Carton. Though I don't know if it's Sydney Carton I lurve so much, or Dirk Bogarde - if the oppurtunity had somehow presented itself, I would've gladly been his beard.

Bridget Jones & Mark Darcy.
Bathsheba & Gabriel Oak.
Niles & Daphne.

Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy!! (Seriously people, how could there be any competition??)

Although I would personally have to award Emma and Mr. Knightley a close second. (Can you tell I'm an Austen fan? Haha!)

Who else? Let's see....probably Brennan and Booth from Bones. They're just so good together (if only they would finally get together lol!)

Elizabeth I & Robert Dudley. It could, and should, have worked out IRL; but alas, it was never to be.

Niles & Daphne is a good one, although I stopped following Frasier after she ditched that poor sod Donny at the altar. But I guess, like the final scene of The Graduate, there's nothing worth seeing after that.

The episodes following that with Gertrude Moon, Cam Winston, and of course, Simon were always guaranteed to have a couple of laughs.

In that case, I shall consider resuming where I left off a decade ago; that stuff's gotta be online somewhere.

And perhaps I'll be able to appreciate the refined humour now that I'm old enough to understand it.
