I am from long island and I know how you are feeling... I was like this not a month ago... I suggest you make new friends at church or find people that share your faith in Christ You can also make lots of friends on here... good luck with your career!

Star, I love your story and I will pray that you get some good support.
I began by exploring scriptures too and felt such a drawing and a peace. That was well over 50 years ago. I am still exploring the scriptures which speak to me of God's love and story every day.
