Hey,
Im A 25 Year Old Mother To A Three Well Almost 4 Year Old And I Have Often Stoped By Here To See What Others Are Dealing With And How They Handle Certin Things, But There Is No Catagory That I Fit In.
Im A Young So To Speak Mother And She Is Not Special Needs, She Isn't A Little Baby And Im Not A Step Mom Or Any Of The Other Things So I Was Wondering If There Were Any Other Mothers Out There Who Just Want To Chat About The Life Of Mother Hood And Hand Out Advice? Thanks

:p Buy low, sell high... :p

It is really hard to know what advice to offer, unless you are having at least minor problems, like we all encounter sooner or later.

Praise God for seasons of smooth sailing, though... ;)

He, he, I'm in my 30s now, so not young, but not yet old either. So I don't fit in those categories. I just post and answer anything that sort of relates to my experiences. I have a 6 and 3 year old.

I think there is a mothers of preschoolers thread around somewhere which I could try and dig up for you. Now that I think of it, I could probably post there now that my dd is 3.

KATELYN YOUR DAUGHTERS ARE BEAUTIFUL. I AM JUST SORT OF STRUGGLING WITH MY LOVELY DAUGHTER. I'M SURE ITS NORMAL CHILDREN STUFF BUT NOT SURE WHAT NORMAL IS :D :D YOU SEE SHE SCREEMS EVERY NIGHT AT BED TIME DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I DO, OR SHE IS CONSTANTLY UP AND I HAVE TO YELL AT HER TO GO TO BED. THEN STAYING ASLEEP AT NIGHT NOT HAPPENING. SHE IS ALSO GOING THROUGH THIS STAGE OF ONLY LISTENING TO ME WHEN SHE FEELS THE NEED. I JUST WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT :) BUT THAT IS JUST NOT AN OPTION :p ANYWAYS THANKS FOR LISTENING TO ME VENT. SORRY ALSO FOR THE VENTING.
THANKS FOR THE ADVICE MSDAHL, I WILL DO THAT.
SABERTOOTH, HELLO NICE MEETING YOU AS WELL. I THINK MY STRUGGLES ARE MINOR AND YES PRAISE JESUS WHEN THINGS DO FLOW NICE AND SMOOTHE. I REALLY DO APPRECIATE THE RESPONSES. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND.:hug::wave::wave:

Lol, I Have Never Understood Why Children Prefer To Sit On Tables Instead Of The Chairs Provided. Its Not Like We Set Them Ontop The Table To Feed Them. One Of Lifes Little Mysteries I Suppose.
My Little One Is A Dare Devil As Well. She Likes To Climb To The Hightest Place Possible So That She Can Jump Off, While I Have A Minor Heart Attach Watching And Yelling For Her To Come Down.

Hi,

I'm 29 and Have a 6 y.o. boy, a 3.5 year old girl, a 14 month old girl and another girl on the way due in November.

I think I don't post here often because I'd be very negative when I do.... I often get annoyed with my kids and the challenges of mother hood and sometimes need to vent and am afraid that other mothers would be very quick to throw stones. In my mind everyone else seems to be more loving and patient then me... though I know that I'm a good mom because atleast I try to correct my mistakes and I care.

Anyways, I think A LOT of moms here fit your same description... just start posting as someone else has said and you may find that many others have a lot in common.

Bedtime can be rough! Both my girls are picky about going to bed...I'm sitting by the bedside of my 20-month-old as I type waiting for her to fall asleep. :o

My 3.5 year old screams a lot lately too. I think for her it has to do with control issues...when things aren't going as she would expect and she doesn't know what to do about it, she kind of freaks out. I'm hoping it's just a phase, and that as she learns more about how to appropriately communicate her feelings and concerns, it will pass.

My 3 year old surprised me last night. She's a bit of a "daddy's girl" at bedtime, and he wasn't home last night so I had to put her to bed. We read Bible stories then she got into bed and said "goodnight" So I tucked her in and she called out "I love you" Ah that was so sweet, and so easy!!!

^ it just melts your heart when they do that.

My wee boy wee boy does that too.

i love when ive left him at his grans alday and i go back and he runs at me shoutting mummy!!! and nearly knocks me of my feet. i just love it...... he misseses me... :)

My DH does that, sometimes she gets so excited that she turns in circles laughing so hard she cant hardly stand. It makes you feel so loved and missed and just apreciated. Sometimes I will shut the door and wait a second and then open it again just for the warm welcome^_^
