KK, Doji..HellooooCd is down this morning for upgrade so I was hoping to find someone home here..My son and his wife just left..They spent the night..He lives about 5 hours away..The furthest of any of my kids..She is recovering from a total hysterectomy from ovarian and uterine cancer and is on chemo, but is doing very well and all the cancer was early stage, so the chemo is just added insurance..
Cd is down this morning for upgrade so I was hoping to find someone home here..My son and his wife just left..They spent the night..He lives about 5 hours away..The furthest of any of my kids..She is recovering from a total hysterectomy from ovarian and uterine cancer and is on chemo, but is doing very well and all the cancer was early stage, so the chemo is just added insurance..

Good to hear from you! Prayers for your daughter-in-law. I wish you would come over more and update on what's up with you. Even if I see a post from you at the other place, I don't necessarily know what's going on with you in your personal life.
What's the situation with your shoulder?
I have been off work this week and enjoying it! Monday I got some very needed errands and work accomplished. Yesterday I went out to lunch with friends and went shopping and just had some fun! I've also read a book since Monday. I love to read when I'm off.
There is soooo much that needs doing here at the house. When you work and you're not particularly organized, there's just a lot that could be done. Maybe I can make a dent in some of it at least!
Saturday I helped hostess a bridal shower. I was carrying in something and caught my foot on the lip of the garage and feel completely down on the concrete. I'm still a little "bunged up" but no broken bones or anything thankfully!
Well, like I said, don't be a stranger!!!

Well Kaykay, you have a way of making me really want to spill it all out..At least there seems to only be a couple of us here anymore so here goes..I am going into surgery on Tuesday to hopefully fix my right shoulder which has gone into pretty bad pain, and I haven't had a good nights sleep since January, because of the pain..As you know I was in physical therapy for both shoulders..The left is almost completely better, but something happened during physical therapy to cause the right one to become worse, to the point that the pain renders it useless and it has developed adhesions and scar tissue in the soft tissue..I said
do something that does not involve curtting on me since I have never, never had any surgeries and refuse one now unless it is life threatening..So , in the or they will put me under a general anesthetic and the Bone surgeon will "manipulate the arm and shoulder in an attempt to
unfreeze it while breaking up the raised capsules (whatever those are) and smooth over the scar tissue..Hopefully after that a few months physical therapy will be enough..I have a torn rotor cuff also just a small tear that will not be repaired..He told me that that causes no pain, only a little weakness ..I am seeing the heart specialist on Monday for his go ahead..My ekg looked almost normal
Now one more thing..Diana (my cancer survivor daughter) is very sick and was in the hospital last week for potassium replacement..They also did extensive blood work since she is a cancer survivor..They immediately made her an appointment with a hemotologist for next week..I am worried because I saw her over the weekend and she has lost a lot of weight, her color is really bad and she just looks very very ill..Please pray for her. Kay, and Doji ..I am really concerned about what the hemotologist says..I have not mentioned this on cd yet because... well I just haven't..I will wait on Diana's results first...

Hope your procedure on Tuesday has an excellent result and I will be praying to that end. Sorry you're having such problems with it. Hopefully, this will help. I'll certainly be praying for you, beeg!Oh,no! This won't affect your posting hand/shoulder, will it??
That could be a definite problem!!!But seriously, when you are able, keep us posted about how you are doing! And also about your daughter, Diana.

Oh NOOOO, I haven't thought of that I am hyperventilating at the thought...I am seeing the Ortho surgeon in less than an hour and I will be sure to ask.....My right arm suopports my mouse hand..I am left handed so I am sure that I will find a way

Oh NOOOOOOO, I am hyperventilating at the thought of not being able to post..I am seeing the Dr. within the hour so will be sure to ask..I am left handed..But use the right for "mousing"..I will let you know when I get back...gotta run..
