If I found such evidence? (Why, I wanna be an evolutionary biologist when I grow up. Who better to disprove evolution? :))

First I'd be very, very surprised.

Then, probably, very, very excited. And obsessed with it for life :D

Yes, it would definitely get published.

I just want to compliment you on your profile picture. Is the question mark rly the only change?

It's comforting to know that this isn't a test

Sure aslong as it isn't completely absurd and is based on supernatural events that can't be empirically proven.

e.g no religious [wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth] is ever going to convince me that Evolution is wrong, but if the evidence has been peer-reviewed and is empirical, logical and has been observed neutrally. Then yes.

I'd add a true chimera to this. Finding something like a griffin would pretty much destroy the theory of evolution.

Or observing a cat turn into a dog, Pokemon-style, as creationists are so fond of saying "has never been observed so evilutioin is wrong lolz!!!!111!!"

You'd think with all the fame that would accompany overturning evolution that its detractors would actually attempt some scientific research with the goals of disproving it, but nooo....they decide to spend their money on bad movies and lawyers instead.

This scientist voted yes as well.

Yes I would publish; and then I would invite you all to my Nobel Prize night out.
Somehow I'm getting flashbacks from when I attended an ACS meeting in New Orleans many years ago... drunk scientists wearing "Experiment with a Chemist" t-shirts out partying, tossing beads left and right...

Not a sight for the fainthearted.
