Question.
At what point in replacing body parts would you stop being you ?

Given that today we can replace Arms , Legs, With artificial limbs, and there getting better.
We've had attempts at internal parts (Artificial heart)
Eyes & Ears are being worked on at this time.

Faces are now being transplanted.

How much of the body do you feel can be replaced before you are no longer you.

Would you say it stops at the brain ?
If so as the brain as a whole, or just some part of it ?

Have you been watching the new "Bionic Woman"...;)

Personally...I don't think it's our bodies that makes us...us

I believe it's the soul God gave us...now how that connects to our brains...well...those are questions left to much greater minds than mine...

I still miss Lindsay Wagner...

I doubt there is an answer to your question which would be anything more than speculation. One would say the brain, others would offer some percentage. However, given the testimony of a couple of very Godly believers (Joni Erikson Tada) I would say that our "personhood" is not limited by our extermeties.

I hope we never progress to the point where this becomes more than a hypothetical discussion.
