True, so we can't blame her. (As if she were ours to blame anyway...each stands and falls to his own master.) But I'm not sure we should read anything like this.

I'm really wondering, because some of the games I play are dark like this, and I'm wondering if they're really good to play...

If you look over the thread, you will not see a shred of Scripture offered by folks saying we shouldn't read such books.

What it appears is that folks are going, "hmm, these books are dark; I don't see anything in Scripture about this, so we better make some rules here..."

That's legalism.


Of course, if anyone wants to argue against reading the books from Scripture, please do so. :wave:

okay so I finished reading anne rice's new book. It was good up until about the 21st chapter and Jesus (7 yo) is trying to figure out who he is, where he came from. that kinda stuff. His parents told him to wait until he was older and they would tell him the story of his early life and who he was. He goes behind his parents back and asks clepos (his uncle) instead. Yea at that point I stopped reading it. Jesus doesnt sin!!
