Stryper just recently came out of the woodwork to play again this past year. Time has not been kind, to say the least. LOL
AMEN!!!!....I liked Stryper's albums through "To Hell With The Devil"
I think they went downhill after that.
*this disco...used to be a cute Cathedral**** I LOVE Drive!! My favourite was always This Disco. He still writes some amazing lyrics, but they're not quite so satirical now. But still brilliant.

I was at the very last concert of Sweet Comfort Band (of which Bryan Duncan was a member)
Ray
Where was that, Ray? I saw SCB at Cornerstone '84 (I think it was in June). That was the show where they announced to the world they were disbanding, which blew everbody totally away, and they told us that it would be their last show in the midwest. I wonder how many shows they did after that?
Cornerstone '84 also saw the arrival of a new Christian band. The announcers kept teasing us the first couple of nights that they had an awesome new 'special guest', and on the last night they introduced Kerry Livgren (of Kansas fame, the guy that wrote 'Dust in the Wind' and 'Carry On My Wayward Son' for you youngsters!! ) and his new band, AD!!
Anyone remember this Carman song? I can't remember the name but the theme of it is fighting temptation.
"Well I woke up Monday mornin'
My head all full of nothin'
I walked down to McDonald's
to get me a egg mcmuffin...."
and another verse~
"King David was smitten down to his socks when his eyes caught that Bathsheba fox......I just write 'em the way God gives em to me folks."
I still sing that one in the car.
