Muhammad said it in the Qu'ran, and that is one of the 99 names of allah.
I heard that somewhere, and I just thought you could clear it up for me. :)

BTW thanks for correcting my misspelling-that's one of the few words I always misspell. :) :sigh:

Muhammed said in the Quran?
Muhammed doesn't say anything in the Quran.
The Holy Quran is the word of Allah %100

From the Quran..

"To Allah belong the best and most beautiful names so invoke Him by them. Abandon those who desecrate His names, they will be repaid for what they did."

[ al-A'raf (7): 180]

It says "best and most beautiful names" So how could that be a name like the deceiver?

I looked around a bit & the claim that one of Allah's name is 'The deceiver' is made only on sites who are trying to make Islam look evil , Christian sites mostly

Not one Muslim site had 'the deceiver' listed in the 99 Names of Allah..

One list of Allah's 99 names is here: http://www.jannah.org/articles/names.html

I deleted that thought :p
It doesn't belong to me anymore , so i cant answer..

I re read the definition for deciever & am %100 sure that isn't a name of Allah..

Do you have some kind of proof?
Try & change my mind , go on :p

I fell for that debating tactic somewhere else. I am NOT falling for it here. :sigh:

lol
It was that bad huh?
Well , know that Allah saw it & the punishment he gives is far worse than a ban on some discussion forum :p

I doubt anyway that a Christian would get banned on a Christian forum

Perhaps this is off-topic, but I don't see why the Qu'ran would just tell women to cover up...I mean, men are sexy, too! And it certainly causes lust for them to be in public without their whole body covered...

Perhaps it's a misunderstanding of how women work. Men seen to think that only they are tempted by physical beauty, or that women can control themselves better than men can...which, I can tell them, is certainly not true in my case. :p

Alright! I thought Muslimah was gone, glad to c u holding steady.

"Allah was known to the pre-Islamic Arabs: he was one of the Meccan dieties" (Encyclopedia of Islam, I :406).

Allah was worshipped as a moon God before Islam.

Muhammed was a sinner.

Oh, I forgot to ask you Muslimah...did you sin by taking me as a friend?

"O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors. They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is one of them. Allah guideth not a people unjust." Surah 5:51

;)

Another question Muslimah: can you prove to me that Allah is God?

Hey Muslimah! How ya doin'?

It has been my experience that everyone here who breaks the rules is treated fairly and objectively.
