What was the worst comedy you ever saw?

You got it almost all wrong, Clerks and Dogma rules (I've got a small plastic statue of "Buddy Jesus" in my room), Chasing Amy sucked. But I agree, Mall Rats and Jay and Silent Bob are pretty bad.

Anything and everything with Jerry Lewis. Horrid.

Eurotrip was stupid. It reminds me of all the tourists I encountered in Europe. The Big Lebowski takes the cake for most over-rated, though. I don't think I laughed during the whole thing. Someone calling himself 'the dude' is a hard joke to stretch out over two hours.

The Three Stooges. I think their "humor" is primitive and vulgar. Also, Beavis & Butthead. Same thing!

The Producer, I don't know if that's supposed to be a comedy though

worst? i think ive laughed at every stupid comedy ever made. Even though this movie made me laugh im going to vote for it as the worst, Austin Powers.

My least favorite I have seen is Meet the Parents. Hated the entire film. I'm not usually one to feel as such, but the movie was just too mean-spirited (and this from someone who likes extremely dark comedies and the like) - it consisted of trying to make people laugh as horrible things happened again and again to good people, played amiably by good actors - then it has the obligatory, stupid wrapup ultra-happy ending.

And of course, it just plain wasn't funny.

Anger Management was much the same, but at least it made me laugh a number of times, so it doesn't come close to the title.

By the way, I think a lot of people here and elsewhere who say worst movie ever should rent some of the bargain bin ****.. Trust me, there's worse out there.

if a comedy isn't funny, it shouldn't really class as one.

but the worst one, that tried too hard to be funny, is Kangaroo Jack.

I second Meet the Parents as worst comedy. As well as anything else the actor who played the lead character is in. Not remotely funny.

I'd have to say Pure Luck. That movie was, shall we say, "bleh" ?

Ben Stiller, son of the great Jerry Stiller. He's certainly not as good as his father, but I would say he did good in The Royal Tenenbaums. But, most of his other comedies I haven't really liked much at all.
