Hi Dee,
I was going to try to explain this in my own words but I found this under the FAQ Christian Forums Special Features.
Member Statistics and Member Levels
You can view each member's statistics that appear as colored bars under their username in threads. "Activity" - red bar - drops and rises according to the members activeness. "Popularity" - green bar - determines how long a user has been with the forums, and how active they are. "Experience" - blue bar - determines how close a user is to reaching the next level. When this reaches 100%, the member goes to the next level, and experience drops back to 0%. Member Levels will increase as the member statistics increases. These values cannot be changed by the member, and are calculated from the overall member activity on the site.
Member Ratings
This shows up as "Rating" represented by a green-blue bar under the username of a member. "Rating" is calculated by the number of votes a member gets from other members and depends on how other members rate the member. Each member can be rated with a value from "1 - Bad" to "5 - Good". Members are rated according to their "Friendliness", "Helpfulness" and "Contributions" to the forums. Each member can only vote for another member once, but you can update the rating for the same member by voting again, with the vote counting as the same vote, just with a different rating. To rate a member, just use the dropdown menu under the "Rating" bar, or view the member's profile by clicking on their username or the profile button. Rating is done anonymously. You can stop others from rating you by clicking on "User CP" and clicking on "Options".
I hope this helps. As for closing or ending a thread we better wait for a moderator to help. I do not know how this works.
God Bless,
Roberta
