    Age gaps between kids.

Well, my oldest is 13 and my youngest is 3. They are so alike it's almost having the first all over again- even their baby pictures look alike. My oldest does well to babysit for a little while, but not for long periods, yet. They are pretty close considering the age difference. They can...

    Baby in your room

We had a "family bed" for the first couple of years with both children. The baby gets to sleep with us while they are still breastfeeding. Heaps easier on me. I'm horrible when I don't get enough sleep. :D So my vote is definitely in the room with you. Good luck!

Was your spouse supportive of you breastfeeding? (Husbands, too)

My dh wasn't as supportive- he didn't like me to do it in public- AT ALL. Not even at my mom's and definitely not at his. (I did anyway). I was a firm believer in breast is best. The only thing he liked was that he didn't have to get up and feed the baby. I slept with the baby so I could...

Church Plans to Bury Fetal Remains from Abortions

Maybe the outrage comes because they feel their big money maker is being attacked. This is a wrong act and the church is giving these babies a proper burial. That implies that what they did is wrong- DUH! They innately know that it's wrong- they just don't want to admit it so the clinic sees the...

    Verse By Verse Fellowship Thread

Genesis 20:4 Now Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, "Lord, wilt Thou slay a nation, even though blameless?

    Csi

Love CSI- the original- I just can't get into the other two at all. Grissom definitely makes the show.

    "The Librarian" = PAIN.

I really liked it- I watched it through BOTH times. It was spoofish, but I guess that's why I liked it. AND my sons could watch it with me and I didn't have to worry about it. If it came out on video, I would buy it- that's how much I liked it.

    Medium

Spoilers.... I'm sorry for you, but happy for me- I missed the show on Thursday. I thought it was supposed to be a new episode, too. I really like the show. But then I've always liked stuff like that. I've always liked Patricia Arquette, too. I thought I wouldn't like the show because of...

    Buffy The Vampire Slayer (BTVS)

My favorite character for both shows is Spike- hands down. :D I love the episode where he has Willow and Xander hostage- can't remember the ep name but it was while Cordy and Oz was still on BTVS. He's at the Magic Shop w/ Buffy and Angel getting ingredients for the Love Spell and lectures...

    Migraine Sufferers Club

Hi All, Just found this club and I've been reading all the posts. I thought I would introduce myself and join the club since I've been an unofficial member for 20 years :sigh: . I get migraines 2 to 3 times a month. Usually right around that time of month and a couple more times when...

The Secret on Ararat by Tim LaHaye- the sequel to Babylon Rising. Awesome series- I can't wait for the next one.

Looking for good Christian books and authors

Thanks, mochagirl for that list. Sounds like we have common interests. Some of my recommendations (some are repeats) Francine Rivers- The Mark of the Lion series Tim LaHaye's newest series- Babylon Rising and The Secret on Ararat (awesome books with a little of mystery) Randy Alcorn- Lord...

    Skeleton in God's Closet

Has anyone read this book? Again, a work of fiction, but another book I couldn't put down- a lot of twists in the plot- actually got mad the first time I read it. I've read it a number of times now (the cover is now gone). I've had it for some time so I'm not sure when it came out and I can't...

    Left Behind

I read the 1st 5 books and quit- I got tired of waiting for the next book- often I would read them so quickly that when the next one came out, I would have to reread the last one to catch up to read the new and know what was going on. I finally gave up and just waited until they have all come...
