    The Favorite Sandwich Thread

I love tuna fish sandwiches, except they're not quite sandwiches. I prepare the fish in a bowl, then tear up a slice of bread and mix it in the bowl, eating it right out of there. It's sort of a lazy man's sandwich. :)

Does God mess with our heads?

I don't consider it God messing with me. I think of it as him giving me material for humor writing. :D

Why dating doesn't work for me

That sounds like a pretty valid way of seeing it in general. Of course, you never know what may happen, depending on who you meet in the future and what plans God may have. So stay logical, but don't let it keep you from denying the extraordinary if it happens.

    What's your favorite season?

There are a lot of trees around where I live, so when fall comes everything just turns into a masterpiece of color. It also doesn't hurt that I was born in November. :)

UGGGHHH...turning 33 soon and still single...

What married people say is most often an attempt to be supportive that goes awry because they usually don't understand what it's like to have gone so long living single in this world. That "integrity" remark was way out of line, though.

    A Dying Breed?

Well, I originally intended to focus on one's ideas toward dating and sexuality, but I think it's been fanning out.

    Pre-nups

I would hope that after all the time searching and hoping, I would be able to find someone with whom pre-nuptials would just be a waste of time. Unfortunately, with all the "perfect" marriages that fall apart nowadays, I agree with radhead that my view may be too idealistic.

    A Dying Breed?

Why do you think it would be egotistical? I know "dying breed" often has the insinuation that the person saying it thinks they're better than the "average" person, but it doesn't always mean that. And it seems even more appropriate on this forum since those of us having trouble finding someone...

Are you apart of dating site?

I've tried it a couple times in the past. All the girls I was interested in never returned my messages and all the girls that weren't very compatible with me at all would try to contact me!

    A Dying Breed?

(Cue replies of "Have you read this book called 'Wild at Heart'?") :D

    A Dying Breed?

Do you ever get the feeling that you may be a "dying breed"? In other words, do you feel that there are less and less people like you every day, especially when it comes to the search for a relationship, your sexuality, etc.? If you do, how does it affect you?

    Are you...

To answer the questions: no, yes, no, no, yes, no, no, no. As for other peeves, I'd like to add "Do you stick your knife in the jelly and then the peanut butter when making a sandwich, thereby contaminating the peanut butter with jelly globs?"

    Are men really happier??

Because when I think of all the best characteristics that the female gender possesses, I think of Hilary Clinton.

Where did the "plenty of fish" analogy come from anyway?

But wouldn't that metaphorically mean you're throwing other men or women at him?
