I've read different interpretations online. Sometimes the Antichrist is the first beast of Revelation and, according to others, he is the second beast (the False Prophet). Is that open to interpretation in Catholicism? Thanks Norm

Who am I to judge?

I tend to think of it as Christ's power flowing to me through the crucifix. I don't think of the crucifix as the source of that power, though. Different?

I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this, but seeing (and touching!) a crucifix brings me closer to God. Isn't that idolatry?

I'm wondering how to respond to people who question the reality of the Christian God because of atrocities God commits or advocates in the Bible. I have no good answer and wonder myself if these elements of the Bible are simply made up by victors in battle to justify their atrocities. Thanks!
