  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    What's your take on

diet pills are a waste of money, SOME surgery is nessecary, and fad diets are just that, fads, you WILL gain the weight back if you try to stay on it. I can see if someone starts out with it to lose weight, but there is no way you can stick to it. Living heathly is a lifestyle, not an...

Oh, and there is really nothing that can wrong with a filling. Surgery? Yes. Root canals? Sometimes. Fillings? No big deal.

They'll probably do two tomorrow and 2 the next visit. Unless you ask him to just do them all, I dont know how long your scheduled for or anything and most docs dont like numbing up the entire mouth, but its worth a shot. You wont be able to talk very well if your whole mouth is numbed up...

Your ipod wont interfere with anything. It's all really low-tech to be honest. You wont feel anything at all. No pain after the anesthesia wears off either, its not surgery or anything. Ask the doc if you can listen to your ipod because it will calm you and that you are nervous, I dont see why...

What are you scared of? Just curious, im a dental assistant, and I've always been curious as to why patients are scared. You wont feel anything. It's just a filling. They take like 5 minutes to fill. The worst part, the needle, you wont barely feel because of the topical anesthesia they put on...

    New to running

It is crucial that you get proper running shoes for your feet. Go to a specialty store and get fitted. It is very important for anyone, but especially for 200+ people. Start out slow, no rush. Try to stay injury free.

what are your reasons for wanting to be thin?

Because the corps frowns on fat bodies. "Thin" sounds gross though. Lean sounds better. I dont really care though, as long as im shape, im not too worried about my figure.

    which one???

Well, im in the Navy now with the best rate in the world, hospital corpsman. I cant really say I would join anything else because the reason I joined was for the medical experience and the Navy has the best, but from all accounts Ive heard the Air Force has the best life. I definately dont want...

    Join the Royal Air Force?

It depends on what your vision is. You dont have to be good at sports either. If you're worried about the math, its really no big deal, whatever you need to learn you'll learn in bootcamp. Trust me, the PT isnt going to be hard either, as long as you can run atleast a mile or two and do pushups...

    Join the Royal Air Force?

I know you have to be very fit in order to be a pilot. Lots of strict requirements for pilots relating to their health, eye sight, etc. As far as the airforce in general goes, there should be someone around here that knows more than me, but you can go into bootcamp knowing next to nothing...
