    I can't speak to Australia/Singapore specifically, but I have a) attempted to immigrate to Canada, and am currently living in Japan on a Visa. In general, you may need to obtain a job BEFORE you get your visa. Countries often don't like to let immigrants in unless they already have a job lined up.

    Having doubts seems to be very normal and doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't get married. On the other hand, being in love tends to cloud our thinking. I would suggest premarital counseling and/or talk your doubts over with a respected, older, godly friend who has a good marriage.
