Yes, we see them in the sky above us, but they are not directly above our heads and able to be touched.
Just because we can see them doesn't mean that they can't be thousands of feet away.

If your interpretation was right, which is not, the angel would still not be able to talk to the birds from 3000 miles away. That is the folly of interpreting observational language literally. Remember that the book of Revelation is the witness of John and is highly symbolic.

Don't you realise just how vast, awesome and breathtakingly beautiful God's creation is? And the thing is, that he is far bigger and more powerful and majestic than his creation.

You do indeed inject your conspiracy theories into scripture because scripture does not support a flat earth or a geocentric model. The language is NOT literal so you are indeed changing the meaning of the words of scripture.

You can resent it all you want but it is true. You need to examine yourself and realize that your conspiracy theories result in an interpretation of scripture not shared by any mainstream church.

You're the one who's guessing how far away they are.

And what are you basing that on - it's not in Genesis 1.
