(Will this be on the test?)
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
You can post an emoji, but not by clicking the image of it in the emoji list. Example, you can type : and then ) to make a smiley face, and it will appear as a smiley in your post. However, if you try to edit your post once the smiley is there, you won't be able to save it until the smiley is deleted.Ah, the emojis make a difference. I can post if I don't include any emojis. I think. Thanks to @johnnypapa for this insight.
What browser are you using on each computer?Testing
oh good, it worked! But I guess it only works on this computer and not my main one.
Well, I was using Firefox on my home computer, and Chrome on a different one that seemed to work. But since then, I've had problems on the other one as well, regardless of browser. As LP pointed out, it often depends on what's being posted. But sometimes I've gotten the "Oops, something went wrong!" error message even when posting without links or anything else. The inconsistency makes it especially frustrating. What browser are you using on each computer?
If you can't get it to post, what you can do is hit the [ ] icon,
When you're posting a reply, find the word "Preview" in the upper right corner of the reply box. The icon you're looking for is 2 icons to the left of that.Where is this icon, I cannot see it.
Thanks for all your do's & don'ts, much appreciated
