Have you read the facts and data in those articles?Perhaps you should of lead with that instead of trying to deny the ideological leanings of your sources.
Some of it. Still reviewing. So far it sees that it is very likely that if you are from an impoverished country you are likely to be poor. Not exactly ground breasting stuff here. If there are certain facts you feel are relevant, feel free to point them out. Happy to look at the areas you are highlighting having reviewed these articles.Have you read the facts and data in those articles?
What do you think about the facts showing the vast majority of Somalian immigrants in Minnesota are living off of government funds? Couple that with the billions of dollars of fraud by some Somalians in Minnesota and other states. Some of it. Still reviewing. I have not seen that yet. I'll try to get some time to look at the article more in depth. It would be useful in the future if you could identify which article it is in. Thanks in advance. What do you think about the facts showing the vast majority of Somalian immigrants in Minnesota are living off of government funds? Why would anyone feel grateful running into attitudes like this? So, we allow in prople from third world countries, who are mostly likely poor, u educated, can't speak the language, have no measurable skills, come from places run by Islamists, and have considerably different cultural norms and values, including criminal activities and we expect what exactly? That they are going to assimilate or that they arw going to continue to behave the way they did in the country where they are from? What exactly are they offering to do for this country except to come and make it like the crappy place they came from? Complain about us? Not show one iota of gratefulness?

We welcome legal immigrants who assimilate themselves into our nation. That particular Somalian is a high achiever and I applaud his success.I came from Somalia at 19. Let me tell you about the America I met.

"Years passed, and my assumptions about life in America kept collapsing. I enrolled in a federally funded job training program, where I started out learning to be an electrician and left with a path to college. I studied public affairs at a public university while working about 30 hours a week as a bus driver. I interned at a federal agency in Washington. I graduated with high distinction and was chosen to give the commencement speech for my class.
People opened doors for me. They offered mentorship without expecting anything in return. They connected me to opportunities I did not know existed. In college, I spent a semester in D.C. as part of a leadership program funded by a generous American sponsor. Later, I studied abroad, financed by another generous American who did not even know my name. I graduated and started working for a Fortune 500 company. I continued my education further than I ever imagined possible, all the way to a top business school in this country.
Along the way, I eventually accepted a truth that would have sounded impossibly naive to my 19-year-old self: America really does try to live up to its ideals."
Most Americans welcome the immigrant....despite what you hear from Donald J Trump and some of his supporters.
He's exactly the person we appreciate coming here. The one that wishes to take advantage of the great opportunities we have here. He assimilated into our society and become an American. I'm glad He's here.I came from Somalia at 19. Let me tell you about the America I met.

How do you know he has assimilated? Has he renounced the Muslim faith? Stopped celebrating Somali holidays? Muslim holidays? Does he still speak Somali with his family and friends? Still he is Somalian and if he came here originally as a refugee or an asylum seeker then his citizenship is regarded by MAGA as illegal and will likely be revoked, because Somalians are "garbage."He's exactly the person we appreciate coming here. The one that wishes to take advantage of the great opportunities we have here. He assimilated into our society and become an American. I'm glad He's here.
Your anti-Trump and anti-MAGA insinuations are incorrect. Also, a person can still be a practicing Muslim while also assimilating into the USA.How do you know he has assimilated? So what is this "culture" thing they are supposed to assimilate to?Your anti-Trump and anti-MAGA insinuations are incorrect. Also, a person can still be a practicing Muslim while also assimilating into the USA.
As an American, that answer is one that you should already know.So what is this "culture" thing they are supposed to assimilate to?
OK. I have reviewed the articles. They are indeed using using welfare at a high rate. Given they come from an impoverished country, this is not overly surprising. Anything else to add? What do you think about the facts showing the vast majority of Somalian immigrants in Minnesota are living off of government funds? Couple that with the billions of dollars of fraud by some Somalians in Minnesota and other states.

Is that a test? In order to be a "real" American I'm supposed to know what to assimilate to without being told?As an American, that answer is one that you should already know.
No, it's what you are talking about that I am asking questions about. There has been quite a bit said about how immigrants need to "assimilate" and how the ones who don't should be removed. So if they don't have to change their religion, what do they have to do?Oh good grief. What kind of nonsense are you talking about. Who on earth said anyone has to renounce their Muslim faith. All your questions do is show your lack of an ability to actually listen.
Perhaps you can help some of us Americans out? Which cultural identity should immigrants assimilate to? Is it East coast West coast, North, South, City, Rural, religious, non religious, conservative, liberal? As an American, that answer is one that you should already know.
