Australian aviator Hubert Wilkins and pilot Carl Ben Eielson flew a Lockheed Vega over Antartica, conducting aerial surveys. Byrd did as part of operation high jump, and during the 1950’s the U.S. Navy flights further expanded mapping and supported scientific research during the International Geophysical Year. The whole of Antartica is now mapped and is not consistent with a flat earth not to mention, of course, that all continents in the world have also been mapped. The earth is not flat.Well the flights I’ve seen didn’t go straight over it but in a pattern that would be possible on a flat earth. Maybe Byrd did, but I recall that was classified. Also Buzz went deep into Antarctica and tweeted something strange. But you can correct me if I’m wrong regarding the historical flights.
