  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And the vacuum environment next to our gaseous atmosphere where all the satellites travel 50,000km/h without friction
The atmosphere gets progressively thinner as you rise in altitude. Ask anyone who has tried to climb Mt Everest without carrying an oxygen tank. There is no sudden line where there is atmosphere on one side and vacuum on the other, it just gets thinner and thinner.
I’m the looney toon right.
Yep, that's an apt description.

I’m pretty sure no one has taken a measuring tape and measured the circumference of the earth, in both directions. Actually, there’s no cross polar flights recorded in history even.
I'm taking it that you haven't followed the advice of @Apple Sky

Also, the Australian adventurer Dick Smith circumnavigated the earth via the poles in 1982.

That’s oxygen, but there’s also other gasses, and at no point will it be next to a vacuum, as that is impossible.

I've been through all this in previous posts, try reading them.
Try not being rude.

If you have explained this before, you could at least give a link or the number(s) of your post(s).

All the gases making up the atmosphere are thinner at higher elevations. Climbers only carry oxygen because they don't need Nitrogen and it would be extra weight.

I just told you, the atmosphere gets thinner and thinner. There are gas molecules in the moon's orbit, they are just spread out incredibly sparsely.

What is nonsense is the flat earth claim that the earth's atmosphere is sealed beneath a firmament. It we were in a sealed container then air pressure would be constant regardless of altitude. Clearly this is not the case, thus the flat earth claim is falsified.

There are 70 satellites orbiting earth pole to pole.

There’s something called buoyancy among gasses as well, which is how balloons work. Meaning lighter gasses will float up. A firmament is absolutely necessary for our atmosphere to exist, otherwise the vacuum would suck it out, as 1 G force is not enough to hold out against a vacuum and this has been demonstrably demonstrated.

The footage we have of the ISS travelling at supposed 50,000 km/h show absolutely no friction even in very light textile fabrics. This goes to show the footage is fake, because even you yourself say there shouldn’t be a vacuum there.

Here is the formula for atmospheric density from AI:

Gravitational Force and Atmospheric Density

Increasing Density with Depth:

As you go deeper into the atmosphere (closer to the Earth's surface), the density of air increases. This is because gravity pulls more air molecules closer to the planet, resulting in higher pressure and density.

The hydrostatic equation describes how pressure increases with depth due to gravity: P=P0+ρgh

P: Pressure at depth

P0: Initial pressure at the surface

ρ: Density of the air

g: Acceleration due to gravity

h: Depth

How is “1 G force not enough to hold out against a vacuum and this has been demonstrably demonstrated”?

Why don’t you prove me wrong.
The overwhelming data proves you wrong. There. We’ve been to space. We’ve been to the moon. We’ve flown AROUND the world. Your head is in the sand.

Yes I did have a short video explaining this but I can't seem to find it at the mo.

Ok so explain how a hot air or gas balloon works.

How is “1 G force not enough to hold out against a vacuum and this has been demonstrably demonstrated”?

Easy. Create a vacuum, then hold it against the surface of the earth, and see if the air is sucked into the vacuum or stays due to gravity
