I took it that HantsUK meant (in context) that the correct position of the north pole as far as the flat earth believers are concerned is in the centre. I don't think Hants UK meant that he believes the North pole is in the centre.

I don't think we need to because in his post he wrote: "The problem with a flat earth understanding is that it contradict reality. What we observe does not agree with what would be seen if the earth was flat." So he obviously doesn't believe in a flat earth.

Edit: just to be clear, the descriptions above are for a flat earth. The problem with a flat earth understanding is that it contradict reality. What we observe does not agree with what would be seen if the earth was flat.

And I have posted links to a website that sells tickets for sight=seeing flights over Antarctica. Where are they flying if, as the maps you posted indicate, Antarctica is beyond the edge of a flat earth? I couldn't see Antarctica on your maps. If Antarctica is not where believers in a flat earth say it is, why should the Arctic and the North Pole be at the centre as you claim?

I’m pretty sure no one has taken a measuring tape and measured the circumference of the earth, in both directions. Actually, there’s no cross polar flights recorded in history even.

The Antarctica encircles the whole earth leaving the Arctic in the center, there is no east, west & south when navigating by sea and this is why all compasses point to the Magnetic North.

Not remotely funny, seeing as the Apollo Lunar Ascent module had a weight of between 4.5 and 4.9 tonnes, with the Moon's gravity being 1/6 that of earth, whereas the weight of the entire rocket launching from Earth had a weight of 49.875 tonnes. The Ascent Module's engine was also hardly a fire cracker, producing 16kN of thrust, compared to the five Saturn V engines producing 34MN of thrust.
