Frankly the Commander in Chief does have authority to order these individual attacks such as taking out the vessels. We have been doing it for several years...the Iranian takeout, the takeout of Hutsis attacking vessels in the Red Sea area, the Somali pirates, the taking out of Bin Laden, & the use of drones that have taken out a number of these terrorist leaders.

All of these are legitimate military targets, not some randoms in a boat in the Caribbean. The fear some have with just labeling them terrorists and summarily killing them without trial is that this will eventually be expanded to other targets of this administration. If we accept they don’t need to make a case against these suspected terrorists then they won’t need to make a case against any suspected terrorists. Just the label and accusation alone is enough to warrant lethal force.

These are not ordinary criminals.

You cannot negotiate with Satan. These thugs for too many centuries have walked in darkness. Humanity's efforts to lighten their hearts or rehab them is absurd. You cannot rehab Satan or his apostates.

These are people, not demons. Just an arrest and trial is all that’s needed to put them away for a very long time. They don’t have magic powers, you know.

After the war the ones that escaped and were captured were put on trial. During the war most top nazi’s were either killed or took their own lives.

Well since I'm the only one here who just recently told you I'm in my 60s maybe you can see how I might come to that conclusion. What did you actually mean?

Of course. I do see where you could think that. I read another post from a different poster and was going to extend my invitation to join the Navy and come to the Caribbean. Before I did that I thought to check and see if they could join and not exceed the age limits. They were also above 60. Both of you are enthusiastic about the activity down here.
I am currently 54 and in the Navy. My job normally entails things that are guaranteed to cause death, preferably just the enemy but stuff happens. I have found in getting older things that wouldn't normally bother me have started to really get under my skin. I am concerned that I could become too enthusiastic about my job as I get older. Thus, I am concerned about becoming a person too eager to spill blood and not care about the consequences of doing so.
