Nah. I’m 65 and still without killing anyone.
All of these are legitimate military targets, not some randoms in a boat in the Caribbean. The fear some have with just labeling them terrorists and summarily killing them without trial is that this will eventually be expanded to other targets of this administration. If we accept they don’t need to make a case against these suspected terrorists then they won’t need to make a case against any suspected terrorists. Just the label and accusation alone is enough to warrant lethal force.
Even the top Nazis were put on trial. How are these random fishermen in South America so much worse?
These are people, not demons. Just an arrest and trial is all that’s needed to put them away for a very long time. They don’t have magic powers, you know.
These are not random fishermen. I don’t think fishermen use speed boats. They are drug traffickers that cause havoc with our youth and people in general.
Most of the people actually in the boats are just poor fisherman trying to make living with a side job (as opposed to the masterminds behind the scheme). But, regardless, does that really change the argument?
It doesn’t.
After the war the ones that escaped and were captured were put on trial. During the war most top nazi’s were either killed or took their own lives.
