CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like Jeff Kinley. Recently read his book "As It Was in the Days of Noah". Was good.
Ever watch "The King is Coming" show, hosted by the late Ed Hinson?
Jeff Kinley hosts it now (runs on NRB TV). He makes prophecy easy to understand. (I like it that way!)
It's a good book, I recommend it. I've found all of Kinley's books very enjoyable.
I don't believe I've seen the show. I'll have to see if it streams somewhere on Roku!

I checked it out today ... "The King is Coming" website doesn't appear to be very active these days, but the show does still air on NRB occasionally according to the NRB posted schedule. (NRB does have a free app on Roku.)
Aside from writing books, Jeff Kinley has a YouTube channel with Todd Hampson called "Prophecy Pros Podcast". It's pretty interesting, if you haven't discovered it already!

When you're finished reading it, it would be interesting to get your opinion of the book.
I've not read any of Jordan Peterson's books, but he's sometimes very interesting to listen to, when speaking in interviews.

I'll let you know what I think of it! He's an interesting man and somewhat controversial. He seems to waffle about his religion. But the book sounds interesting. He has a YouTube channel. And he's a good speaker and conversationalist. We'll see.

I'm working on the book slowly but surely. It's BIG! So far it's good. But I've been reading several others
that are hard to put down.Thanks for the kind thoughts. I've been somewhat absent from the forum, checking in but not posting. Some health issues (nothing serious), some church issues that have really had me questioning the state of today's churches
. One of our cats passed away. Just life things I guess.Hope you're doing well. I'll give an update on the book later this week.

I DID notice that the book is big! I don't normally take on books that big ... so I admire you for the challenge you've taken on! lolI'm working on the book slowly but surely. It's BIG! So far it's good. But I've been reading several others
I'm an avid reader ... I've got way too many books around my house! (though Kindle helps lighten the load! lol). My pattern is also to be reading several books at one time. At times, I seem to get into a sort of 'learning curve' with books ... starting off intentionally on one path, and then finding myself veering off to another, and then maybe another, etc. ... with God somehow bringing together what I was meant to learn! Occasionally, there is that completely captivating book that I'll read thru in days ... I love when one captures my steady interest that way!

I'm doing well here, always busy it seems with things around the house ... like snow shoveling today! I'm not wild about snow, but snow does make it seem more like Christmas is coming soon!
I read where Jordan Peterson has been very ill these past months ... like pneumonia and sepsis? When we go thru very difficult times, it can suddenly turn our focus more towards God. Maybe his illness will affect him in this way, too.
