Repeat: science (at least, the physical sciences) is the study of God's creation. The world around us can be studied. It is knowable.

Everyday observations can only be explained by the earth being a globe and would be contradicted by a flat earth. These observations are repeatable. However, understanding and interpreting these observations needs basic geometry and maths. If someone does not understand these, then they will lack the skills needed to interpret observations and will be reliant on what others claim and so are open to being deceived.

It does not take a genius to see that God has placed the sun, moon and stars in the sky above the earth. That these created lights move in the sky over the earth, where they have been placed.

The real question is when sciences deceptions are show to be the deceptions they are. Will Christian's finally believe in God;s true creation or just like Israel's rejecting the Messiah when He came to earth. Stay with what the authorities claim as truth (Matthew 12)

When I said that I accept a globe earth and believe Genesis 1, and you replied, "you can't do."

Sorry but I think you must have misunderstood me. I know that Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions. All I was saying was that they do so, not because of a bible command, but because they misinterpret what the bible says about eating blood.

But the word translated "science" in the KJV is the Greek word "gnosis," which means "knowledge." Indeed, in 28 of the 29 times it occurs, it is translated "knowledge" in the KJV. Gnosis does not refer to what we call science - Physics, biology, chemistry and so on.

Besides, the verse you quote does not say that all knowledge is wrong, just that some knowledge is false knowledge. Often the Greek word gnosis is used in a good way. For example, in Simeon' song:

“76 “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, 77 To give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of their sins,” (Lu 1:76-77 NKJV)

But I do. I didn't write the wrong thing or make a mistake. I'm telling you, I believe Genesis 1 and that the earth is a globe. It's perfectly possible to believe both..

But I believe the testimony of someone who walked on the moon. I believe the photos which you say are fake. I believe the books, articles and so on that you have dismissed as hearsay. I believe that all the things which you say are lies, are true.

It's interesting that you're pulling me up on the use of the word "liar" when you do the same thing.
You have said that Charles Duke, and the other astronauts who walked on the moon are liars. You haven't proved they lied, all you've shown is that you don't believe their eyewitness accounts.

Genesis 1 says that God created the heavens and the earth
Psalm 19:1 says that the heavens proclaim the glory of God.
Psalm 24:1 says that the earth is the Lord's and everything in it.
John 1:1-3 says that all things were created through the Word, Jesus. There is nothing that was not created by/through him.
Colossians 1:15-16 says that all things were created through him.
Hebrews 1:1-2 says that God made the universe, and all things, through Jesus.

You seem to be saying/implying that Christians who say that the earth is a globe, don't believe this.
Utter nonsense.

I am almost certain that I have read a post from you where you agreed that Genesis 1 does not mention the shape of the earth. Have you changed your mind? Which verse(s) Genesis 1 do you think teach the shape of the earth? I cannot find one. If no mention is made in Genesis 1 of the earth's shape, then somebody could believe that the earth was shaped like a pyramid and still believe Genesis 1.

Simple.
Genesis 1 tells us WHO created the world/universe.
It does not say what shape he made them. That is not the purpose of the Bible; it is not a science textbook.

I’m still waiting for some sort of scientific or Biblical proof the earth is flat. If it is Biblical, then it must follow proper hermeneutics. If it is scientific, it has to be better than the tricks shown in previous videos.
