I have my doubts that late teen/ early 20s service members pay much attention politics.

I doubt anyone would have paid much attention to the video had not the POTUS call it out after watching his nightly dose of Fox News. It would have been a story for a day or so....

They pay more attention to it than any other late teen/early 20s person. Why? Because they have more responsibility and more directly affected by politics than the others.

Are you sure? When I joined the Army at 18, politics wasn’t on my mind. I joined for college money, as did many I was training with.

Though we might carve out National Guard enlisted in light of this administration and recent events. They may want to bone up on what is an unlawful order.

One has to ask.if Trump has done anything legal in the eyes of most of the left today. Just look at all theae threads involving hia actions. From day one he's been accused on almost everything he's tried to accomplish as being illegal.

Yep, so it only stands to reason that they now direct that attention towards our military members in order to make them not obey orders on the notion that whatever Trump orders must be illegal.
Maybe Trump should wear a king's crown when he gives his orders. Then they'll have no choice by to obey! LOL

Nothing in what they said would indicate that "they" were trying to cause division. What is revealed is evident in the crazy response of right wingers is they know that they are pushing the limits of the law and have been told this by the courts.

Trump "heard" what he wanted to hear, not what they actually said. Trump demands loyalty, not legality.

But he certainly lacks respect for the legal and constitutional restraints that are supposed to apply to his office.
